Emerson
I have several of the EGW U-dies which I use for getting rid of the "bulge" in different calibers. I've always disliked the Lee decapping pin set-up with the collet, and the fact that if you break the decapping pin you have to replace the entire stem which cost about $2.50 apiece. The die body itself isn't hardened because of the fact that it has the carbide insert which actually does the work. So, after breaking another decapping pin I figured what the heck. I called my buddy and asked him if he would drill and tap the die bodies to take a Dillon de-capping unit. His response - "Hey, that sounds like a good idea. Sure send em down." So I sent three down to him and a week or so later I got them back. It doesn't get any better than that. They work like a champ and I've got a couple of dozen Dillon de-capping pins in my box. They work so well that my buddy converted all of his over too. Just thought I'd pass this tip along so that someone else could take advantage of it.
