Polymer/large magwell for SV grip ?

Hello-

SV grips (skater/steel in this case) come with a proprietary magwell (surprise). Anyone know of a polymer magwell (A la Dawson ICE) that is made for this grip ?

Jay, I aksed SV about this and they might have something soon. However, I would give their magwell a try before you write it off. I always used an ICE magwell and THOUGHT I needed it. As I started with SV's new grip I really wanted an ICE-like magwell. After some basic dryfire I realized it was all just in my head. I actually became smoother and faster with their system because of the ergomomics (and basic dryfiring). It was like the mag was just sliding in bewteen my grip on the gun with no effort. I'm very pleased with the results so far.

I thought the SV magwell that comes with the metal grip are plenty big. It might not be as big as some others but the way it blends in with the grip makes it very efficient for its size. I prefer it to the ice magwell but everyone has their preferences.

SV/ Infinity has just come out with a new Large magwell that is large like the Dawson style. It's not polymer but is nice and large. This may help with grip along your palm as well as give a large opening for those smooth easy reloads. It's listed on their products webpage under "various small parts". Looks good!!
