Break inperiod in the white

I'm thinking of getting a new 2011 and can't decide on hard chrome or ion bond as the final finish. During the initial break in period, is it better to have it blued or will there be a problem leaving the gun in the white?

seen plenty shot in the white, just keep it whiped down with oil when not used

No problems leaving it in the white...just be careful of rust. When I lived in NM, I never even wiped down the one gun I have that's in the white....no rust. Here in MI, that changed, so it's going off for finish soon. R,

Thanks for the info! Looks like I'll shoot it in the white until I make a decision.
