2MoreChains
Anybody know what a .40 cal 5" bushing barrel / standard slide weighs for comparision? My Eagle with bushing barrel and std slide weighs 39.6 oz with an empty 140 mm mag (Dawson basepad), or 38.2 oz with the standard 126 mm STI mag. Is this what you were looking for? Yes, THANKS ! So add a tungsten guide rod for the same weight and feel as bull barrel? Thats a good question, and I've wondered that myself. But for now, I'm liking it the way it is. At some point I may try out a tungsten guide rod, but the part I like the best is it feels and shoots very similar to my .45 Trojan.
Tattoo
Seems to be a strong 5" Bull/Full dust cover classic following.... followed by the upstart 6" Bushing/Short dust cover :-) T Edited December 1, 2010 by Tattoo
stoked4AA
I really want to know how this poll would look now or of things are the same. Also would add option of thumb rest or not, slide racker or not.
G34 CORDY
Voted 5inch FLDC bull. Right now I like the weight of this combo seems to keep the muzzle rise down a bit.
paopao
Voted for 5" full dust cover and bull barrel. Less recoil. And also my gunsmith inserted tungsten steel into the barrel
