Hi all just want to introduce myself. I’m from Stafford VA, I'm very very new to every thing. I’m in the process of purchasing my first handgun (sig p226).

I attended the USPSA Area8 comp last week on Thursday in Fredericksburg VA with my cousin and his friends and watched them compete. I didn’t compete but i was recording the match for them. i got to watch a GM and a couple Ms shoot which was pretty impressive. Before this event I had no idea about what a shooting comp even looked like. I was pretty impressed by the whole event and I definitely want to compete once I get some trigger time and get decent with a handgun.

Frederickburg is having its monthly match this sunday with signup starting tonight at 9.

You will shoot the same sorta stages that you watched (the walls and prop's will stay up) at Area 8.

Thanks guys. I would love to shoot that course that i watched. stage 5 was awesome with all the triggers and things flying. I'll definitely jump right in but unfortunately this Sunday is to early. i still waiting on the sig... some complication with the transaction.
