kct45acp
I shot both sports this weekend IDPA is a little easier on the budget in the beginning, but can turn expensive if you try to shoot all divisions But with Production and Single Stack USPSA is not much more expensive, just a couple more mags and pouches added to your IDPA rig and away you go. Having shot IDPA for 10 years and dabbled in USPSA for most of that time I joined USPSA last year for a benefit revolver match and had a grand time and will continue my membership with both. honda01
I like IDPA because it forces me to practice the way I carry, "concealed". However, USPSA, give me more trigger time. Just think about the techinques you want to work on and spend more time at that game. Nothing says you can't do both, but if the issue is budget, nothing says you have to attend every match either. I attend what I can, and enjoy them both. Because at the end of the day I spent quality trigger time, with quality people.
