smike308
New member with a question regarding Montana Gold bullets. I am going to order some of their 9mm bullets for a Springfield XDm. Is there a difference in performance between their CMJ and FMJ bullets? TIA MS
Rolex
I find no dif. at all. But the FMJ have an exposed lead base. The CMJ have NO exposed lead base. They may be found to be a little less dirty when cleaning. At least the .40S&W are that way! But in open guns with comps you would you JHP and or CMJ MG! Hope this helped. Pezco
I haven't seen a difference between either type of bullet.
briansea2
If you are running an open blaster with a comp you will want to use the CMJ's no exposed lead no cleaning of comp.
gfmun
I have shot them both in my open gun and did not see any difference. I am shooting jhp now, because....I don't know...'cause I want to I guess. George
