usmc1974
what is so different about this gun from a regular stainless or blue 92? does it have a better trigger or sight what? It sure has a better price tag. Edited April 8, 2010 by usmc1974
jtielke
Inox is Italian for Stainless Steel. Same gun, different metal.
sfort
Are all of the stainless 92/96's INOX or is it a separate model, and is INOX stamped on the slide?
jsneff
Inox models usually feature stainless slides and barrels with clear anodized aluminum frames. They have either stainless or blued parts (trigger, safeties...) Like most stainless pistols, typically command a premium over the blue(In Beretta's case Bruniton) model. With fluctuation in availability, the difference in price can vary. The most desirable variations are the early Italian made Inox with all silver parts, mags and straight dust cover. I don't think there is any shooting benefit, just looks.
sfort
OK, thanks for the info. I got my no blue INOX for less than the better looking bruniton models at the store. Never really looked into the INOX designation.
