usmc1974
I would like to know if you can put a Beretta Elite 2 top end, on a 92 lower.I like the feel of my 92, but would like a fiber optic front sight.
Beretta Lover
I tried it on one of mine for ya 2 minutes ago and it didnt seem to want to completely lock up properly My elite II 9mm slide did not lock back with an empty mag in it when it was on a regular 92FS lower also the slide stop was very difficult to make it engage by hand The regular 92 FS slide functioned fine on the Elite II lower though I dont know why, maybe mine are funny remember the Eite II lower does have an enlarged opening in the grip, and it does help a little with reloads opening up your magwell post factry is technically an IDPA no no and there are limits in USPSA as too how much you can open your mag hole up for production class so what Im saying is, just buy an entire pistol. PS Im pretty sure the following guns can take fiber optic replacement front sights Beretta border marshal Beretta 90-Two Beretta M9A1 the new Beretta 92 coming put post 2010 shot show
rvb
It should work. one note is that the brig slides are wider, and the slide stop will rub the slide. You need a slide stop from a gun w/ a brig slide. I -think- in later years beretta started using the same slide stop on all guns, but I'm not 100% certain and I couldn't tell you when such a change was made. -rvb
