Warren tactical sights for Glock 19

I am interested in buying sights for my G19 that will be used for IDPA.

I was looking at the Warren tactical plain rear with Fiber optic front.

Are these sights set up for "point of aim" shooting with the 0.215" front sight?

Mine shoot POA/POI using their supplied night sight front.

I have an XD Tactical in 9 mm that I shoot in production - warren tactical in the back, TFO in green in the front (wierd huh?) shoot POA pretty well in matches. Don't use for much of anything else other than compitition.

i use them on my 34, 17, and an aa conversion. the shoot poa/poi on all of them..

Good morning OHtard,

What range is the poa/poi coincident? I found at 25 yds I had to hold at the bottom of a black 5 1/4" bullseye to get center hits (hits 2 5/8" high @ 25 yds). This is true of:

A G22 and TruGlo tritium night sights

A G22 and Warren Tactical sights

A G23 with Meprolight night sights

However, with a 0.245" front sight, the point of impact would be 1.9" low at 25 yds (assuming straight line bullet travel so as to use simple trig functions).

These were shot off a rest, so although it doesn't eliminate my poor shooting quality, it helps to give a bit better results.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Warmest regards,

Rob
