abcd
i just acquired a very old 1050 (nickel plated) and was looking at the manual, it has a powder checker pictured on the front page but there is nothing about it mentioned. Due to the fact that i use the powder checker on my 650s and know how to use and adjust i was able to rig a powder checker to work (just added a bracket and standoff to activate the rod. My question is: Has anyone else had to do the same, or does Dillon have a retrofit to make it work? i've just been very busy at work to call them. thanks
dillon
The same powdercheck die mounts into the 1050 toolhead in the empty station after the powder die. You need to add a washer to the bolt at the bottom of the push rod. The washer is what contacts the frame of the machine to tip the alarm in towards the powder check rod.
