pdice
Does anyone know of a quick detach mount for the magpul prs stock? I'd like to be able to pull my sling off easily before a match if it isn't needed.

I was hoping someone had a way to put quick detach sling mount, but the buckle will work too.

Their slings use a plastic buckle that allows you to quickly separate the sling from the stock or rail. Additionally, they have bunch of different mounts. I think Magpul could have included a QD mount on the stock for the amount that they cost. I realize the PRS is not a CQB stock, but it's nice to have options. 00bullitt
I heard of one guy that was machining a QD mount for the PRS for like $60. But I just buy a 10pk of the Uncle Mikes QD swivel cups for like $5 from Brownells and attach them with screws where needed.
gb32
Tod, that looks slick. Are you threading the stock or just putting a nut on the backside?
00bullitt
Tod, that looks slick. Are you threading the stock or just putting a nut on the backside? I just removed a screw and replaced it with another that would fit flush in the sling cup. I removed the button head screw that was in the stock and picked up a recessed flat head allen screw at ACE Hardware that was the same thread and secured the QD cup.
