Blaster
Is the aimpoint magnifier legal for USPSA tactical? I could see how someone could say how aimpoint plus magnifer is two optics. At $550 pretty priciy anyway. Blaster

Blaster it's legal in tactical but I'd be willing to bet that most 3 gunners on this forum would consider the aimpoint and magnifier setup less than one optic . Seems like a variable 1-4x or more is the only way to go. With the magnifier your looking at more like $950 for the package. You can buy a lot of great variable power scopes for that dough. SinistralRifleman
Out to 300 yards a Aimpoint with magnifier is a great combination. The more physically demanding the match, with more awkward shooting positions, the more advantage I have seen in using a red dot with unlimited eye relief and having a magnifier for the 5% of the targets that are actually at range.
