  1. Finally a nice warm sunny shooting weekend! FYI the Circleville Multi-Gun match is the following day Sunday June 7th, so shoot both!
  2. The PCSIrange.com websight isn't updated yet but I know Micheal usually runs the 3 gun match every other month and it falls on the Sunday after the USPSA match with a few exceptions. Check the web sight later to verify that is correct. The Multi-Gun match is scheduled for Sunday October 4th. Michael Craig has scheduled 4 of these this year - April 5, June 7, August 2, October 4.
  3. Yes I use the magnifier on the 100 yard targets, and usually on the 30-50 yard targets. I have the flip-to-side model and it is easy to flip into or out of place while moving on a stage without eating up any clock time. By the way I'm shooting a flat top DPMS Lo-Pro Classic that's been tricked out with some competition stuff.
  4. Hey Gang, I'm using an EoTech, and have a 3X Flip-to-Side magnifier on it. The range where I shoot Multi-Gun matches at only has one 100 yard bay, and normally there are only a half a dozen or so targets at that range. Everything else is close up, or 30-40 yards max.. I started off last year sighted in at 50 yards which worked good for me on the close up stuff. I was pretty much able to aim at center mass and get my A zone hits. On the 100 yard targets I'd just aimed a little high and had no issues. Then toward the end of the season I decided to sight in my rifle in at 100 yards. That messed up my close up stuff aiming point. What do you guys recommend? Should I go back to 50 seeing as how most of the targets are close in & just deal with it on the few 100 yards targets, or stick with 100 and just get used to it on the short range stuff?
  5. Don't sweat the Shakey Bridge.. I'm going to sneak out to Pickaway before the seaons starts and burn that sucker!!! Thanks for taking this on Conrad. Of course Kelly & I will be there for sure..
  6. DPMS has a 10% off coupon going through the 23rd of the month if you order from their web site. I just picked up 3 black PMAGS (pre-Obama ban) for $40.37 shipped. The coupon code is OCTOBER and DPMS has free UPS Ground shipping!! They've also go them in in OD & Tan. Unfortunately the window version is sold out.
  7. Thanks for posting them Jason! No sweat on the classifiers Chris! We lucked out and still have power, but I lost a 35' tree in my front yard and some of my roof..
  8. Any word on when the scores for this match will be posted? Normally I get an email, but nothing yet..
  9. Nope.. Nothing has changed since my last match in which the rifle ran fine. One of mags is showed the problem consistantly today during testing and it is now in the trash. I'm going to order a couple of PMags and give those a try. Thanks!!
  10. The bolt hits the top of the round and strips it off halfway. I played around with all my mags today, and narrowed it down to one problem magazine which now resides in the trash. The other three fed just fine today... I'm going to pick up a couple of PMags and give those a shot.
  11. It happened with two of the four I have. All four are of the same configuration; i.e. DPMS with Mag-Pul follower and basepad. I'm not able to consistently replicate the problem. It doesn't happen round to round, it's more intermittent than that.
  12. Winchester White Box 5.56 x 45 55 Grain Full Metal Jacket.. It's all that has ever been run through the gun.
  13. I've got a DPMS Lo-Pro Classic that I've been using for local multi-gun matches. This past weekend I had a few failure to feed issues. The gun was clean & I normally run it pretty wet so I don't think it was a crud or dry issue. I'm currently using the DPMS 30 Round Black Teflon Magazine that come with the Mag-Pul Self-Leveling Follower and Mag-Pul Ranger Mag Floor Plate pre-installed. The rifle is ejecting the spent round just fine. The problem comes when the bolt slides forward it's not consistently stripping the next round off. It did it with a two of my 4 magazines, but I can't see a visible difference between any of them. Is there something better out there, or can someone point me to instructions on how to tune an AR magazine? Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  14. Yeah that's the one.. I thought you were going to burn that thing!! Let me know and I'll bring the gasoline.. There was a hunk of carpet down on the prone shotgun stage, but everyone still managed to rip some skin off their elbows.. Hey Michael - I just saw Mike McDowell on the American Rifleman TV show!! He was shooting in the FN 3-Gun match on Bruce Piatt's squad.
  15. The first two MG matches at Circleville have been a total blast! Well all except that prone shot & slug thing we did in the gravel last time which sucked (I bled from that one... ) & that damn shaky bridge! I hate that thing!! Everything else has rocked!!! Keep up the good work Michael!! I'll be there early Sunday morning to help with the setup..
  16. Alliant's online recipes are down.. Just wondering if anyone has the minimum recommended starting load for Alliant Power Pistol for a .40S&W 200gr. FMJ (Zero TCFM) bullet? TIA!!
  17. Got mine too! My first trophy!! Yeah it's only 2nd place in Limited Class D, but what the hell...ya got start somewhere!
  18. I use Remington Rem-DriLube which is a teflon spray. I coat both the inside and out on my STI high cap mags, let it dry and wipe off the excess and the mags come out slicker than snot..
  19. NOBODY has ever been prosecuted for that offense, and there are LOTS of shotguns like that out there. This has been hashed over a bunch on the Benelli forums and AR15. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I hear ya.. However, there are two ATF agents that shoot at my local range on a regular basis so knowing my luck I'd be the first one...
