  1. Wow. I never expected Salomons to be so popular. When I looked for a better shoe because my feet hurt after a few hours at any match I went to. I started buying different shoes. I bought 8 different pairs but when I tried the Salomons the comfort was fantastic and the traction was really good. It just so happen Salomon and Rudy Project do business together so that is how it happened. Salomon sponsored my teams and we promoted them on FB. I think it has to do with the quality of shoe because people are not going to spend that kind of money on things that do not work. Not ever shoe is for everyone and there are some really good alternatives like inov8s but overall I like the more sturdiness of the Salomons. They are now coming out with Police and Military shoes and boots. Thanks for liking Salomons they are a great bunch of guys!

  3. If you want more support more traction and better quality try these

Given what I've seen and experienced, you're wrong on the traction angle - I've watched several folks slide around on Speedcross 3s and other folks in Mudclaws do just fine on the same surface, using similar technique (talking top level shooters here, as well). Don't know how you could estimate quality, given that no one I've seen reports from has had quality problems with either?

its cause he is sponsored by them and spewing there propaganda around the forum again

Your wrong - I bought mine full price before our teams were sponsored. I am wearing speedcross 2 the original pair I bought from zappos.com After testing them against the rocs I liked them better for comfort and traction. We received sponsorship after we started talking about them. Both shoes are good it depends on what you like - try both.

  4. Great looking work, If I wasnt ready to "pull the trigger" on a new SSP/Production setup I could see myself getting sucked over to the darkside.

Greg - You gotta talk to Shay about his CZ Shadow Custom Guns. Call him and discuss it. You will be surprised.

  5. An observation: I have several TW and other manufacturer shirts that I rotate. I noticed that nearly all of the non-techwear shirts are showing pilling on the gut and on my gun side. The Techwear shirts still look like new after 2 1/2 seasons of wear.

    BB

That says allot - if you think paying a couple dollars less for a shirt from a new comer to the sport then will get you more for your money this post says it all. Techwear does have the best quality shirt on the market.

  6. What I am impressed about is the Continued development from DAA on all of our products to make them more efficient and thus improve our shooting. For a long time new product development was slow at best and it seemed as if the industry did not listen to our suggestions. I can tell you DAA listens and develops great products for all of us. They are shooters, sponsors and contributors to the sport.

Great product Saul I will be calling Chuck at shooters connection soon!

  7. When Choosing equipment I follow a set of questions -

Is the product of high quality?

    Does it fit my needs?

    Does it fit my budget?

Does the company support the sport with prizes and help at the matches we all shoot?

That is the test for me on any product.

Techwear does sponsor our Teams so having said that I can tell you they work hard to bring the customers the best designs and quality while supporting our sport with many thousands of dollars of help.

  8. Its too bad I did not get a sponsorship request letter from Area 8 since we sponsored it last year. Guess no free Rudy Project Glasses this time. hint hint.... LOL

    Hey Kevin,

I visited the fist retail store I've even seen selling Rudy's today at North Park Mall in Dallas. They had a decent selection and advised that most of their Rudy's were sold to bike riders. I told them about Rudy and the shooting sports!!

Thanks Bro!! We have a couple of Harley dealers going!!
