  1. Thank you for your response, Ming the Merciless!!! I know I saw one of those kydex holster for Ruger at Sportsman's Warehouse a couple weeks ago, but didn't get since no one can confirm me if somebody had tried it with their Buckmark and worked. Now that you've mentioned it, I am going to give it a shot.

    Thanks again!

  2. Hi Guys,

I have been searching the internet and the forum for a speed holster for my Browning Buckmark, but I can't find any. Some posts here in the forum are suggesting to contact people who customize holster. But what I am really looking for is a speed holster because i am planning to use my buckmark for training and practice.

I was wondering if you guys might have some ideas like jimmy rigging other holster to fit the buckmark. The first one in my mind was the "ghost" holster for glocks, since i think the size of the trigger guard of glocks are close to the size of the trigger guard of the buckmark? I am not sure though, i just eyeballed it and never really run through a caliper. I just haven't bought the ghost holster yet since i don't want to spend money on something that might not work later on.

But anyway, if guys have any suggestion or recommendation on how I can accomplish this, i would really appreciate it.

    Thank you!

  3. Hi guys!!

This is kind of out of topic, but I figured, might as well give it shot to post it here. Since, judging the responses in this thread, you are all techie people. So here it goes. I was able to make my own USB hardware interface from my Shooting Chrony to my laptop, but instead of coding a front-end interface, i was thinking of just using Excel. Does anyone here knows how Excel can read data from Serial port (COM)? Or if there's a similar thread here that discuss about reading data from Serial port using Excel, i would really appreciate if you can direct me to it.

Thank you in advance and for your response.

    Sincerely,

    BASTi

  4. Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to see if anyone here owns a K.I.S.S. Bullet feeder for Dillon (650 or 1050).

If so, can you please tell me your experience about it? I'm thinking of getting one, I just can't decide if it's really worth it. Will it take away the excitement/challenges on reloading?

I heard that it costs $550. Do anyone think this can be done by yourself, like a DIY kind of thing.

I would really appreciate any feedback.

    Thank you!!!

  5. joeichild,

My many thanks to your response. I'm going to try what you've said. Since I haven't used any of Hodgdon powder yet, I will buy it and try to load tomorrow using your ingredients.

    Thanks again for the info.

    B'rgds,

BASTi.GWAPo, I have used several thousand of these bullets and they worked fine for me. I have not used that powder though, I used mostly Clays or HP-38 and didn't have any problem making major (with Clays that is).

Because of the large hollow base you will need to add a little extra powder from all I have found, no more than a few tenths of a grain though.

With Clays I am using 4.9 grains to get major out of my gun. The HP-38 makes for a fun and very light target load, 5.4 grains while running a 10 pound recoil spring and one shock buff. With the HP-38 load it feels about like a soft 9mm round.

When I use this bullet, I seat them all to 1.255 OAL.

  6. Hi Everyone,

I just bought a 500 bullets of Berry's MFG 185 gr. HBRN (hollow base round nose) and I can't find any starting load data for this bullet.

I'm just a beginner in reloading and want to be by the book as much as possible. I'm still afraid of playing with the load from starting to max load, so i would really want an exact, proven load, or suggestions for this bullet.

I also have Winchester for my primer, Bullseye or Accurate No. 2 for my powder, and Winchester case.

Another question I wanted to ask you guys is, does OAL and crimping has anything to do with accuracy, recoil, etc?

I would really appreciate any inputs from you guys (the experts).

    Thanks in advance.

    Sincerely,

    BASTi
