Congrats on those stage wins!

Besides, you should be doing the chrono anyway
Yep, but instead I'm getting on a plane with all of the loonies leaving Denver. If Gustav has its way I'll also be reintroduced to real rain.

being a computer nerd - I copied my most recent MRI CD (last week) onto my hard drive for future reference...and to prove I have a brain...which has come up in the past
I might even put it on a t-shirt
This needs a separate thread!

Bummer. Always take the MRI's yourself.

Man Greece would be way cool!!!

Looking for M Frame Oakley's today and the first store I walked into had them for $70 because they weren't going to be carrying them anymore....

Just don't shoot my chrono's and I won't care HOW you do it!

Still good

+1 on the Cape magwell.
Recently saw a post where someone had machined out the palm rest side of an ICE magwell to make it function the same as the Cape while retaining the plastic insert. That looked pretty slick too.

Like this?
Yep, that'd be the one.

Dry fire, working on the skills used on the 40 yard standards stage. Clean draws with a monster left hand grip, clean press, transitions and reloads. Then worked on some box entries. Finally...the treadmill.

I'll take a (slightly slower) draw while moving over a standing 0.80 draw almost every time.
So the .80 is the slower draw?
At 20 yards...in the rain.
Damn Boyeeee That's a bit beyond my skillz at this point. Oh, I can get it out and point it down there that fast, but if I want an A it's 1-1.2
OK OK, I was kidding. Shred can speak to his own draw times at different distances.
My guess is that 99% of us would be happy with a consistent A at 20 yards in 1 flat, and less than 1% would truly expect to do that while moving aggressively.
But back to your initial question. Look at the Nationals stages. Almost all of them will have movement while drawing.
-
Most of us work on the twitch to the grip at the buzzer, perhaps working at starting that step just as quickly should be in order.

Congrats on the A card. No pressure, but you best win B!
As for the M card, shooting/drawing while moving will make almost zero difference...unless you're lucky enough to shoot at a club that sets up the (few) bigger classifiers.
-
Draws while moving: On the treadmill and replicating a few steps to get to the end of a wall are my most practiced in dry fire.

Great Job

Unless there is some unforseen problem (like the steel 2 years ago) you are very unlikely to wait past your scheduled start time to get on a stage. It will move remarkably quickly.

chrono?????
Afraid Patti's going to learn that you've been keeping her at 150+ while you shoot 125?
-
Some people get what they deserve. Others are always beyond help.
-
247 rounds minimum assuming you only need 3 for the chrono... 250 if you need them all.
Unless you are using a modified chrono procedure, the minimu number of rounds for the chrono will be 4 (one with the bullet pulled and 3 fired.) If all is not going well, a maximum of eight rounds (3 more fired and then either fire or pull bullet on the eighth) will be used up.
-
You mean they don't just show up at the grocery store?
