  1. Mine does the same thing on occasion. Some days I take it out and it will work fine, the next time I use it I may get a lot of the "Trigger-Screens Together" Error and the next time I use it I may get the Error just upon putting it in Chrono Mode as you are. It is a older XP though. Took it out last week to check some loads and got the same thing so I said the heck with it, packed it up, went straight inside and ordered a CED.

I'll use the main unit as a timer so if anyone needs a spare set of skyscreens and 24" mounting bracket let me know.

  2. Since my front was sitting to the right (from factory) I pulled the pin and moved it to the left and loc-tited it. Probably won't last long but when it comes loose I'll use the set screw method as described above.

STI makes great pistols but I really have to wonder about their QC. The rear was also loose when I got it. Kinda stinks to pay that much money on a pistol and have to spend a couple of days fixing what they let slip through.

  3. Yeah, that is a 140mm mag with a Dawson +2 on it. I bought it to try and put the +2 on a 126mm mag and found out that won't work as it will not seat in the gun.

I now have 3x140mm with Dawson +1 pads and an ICE magwell. I also stippled the frame and undercut the trigger guard.

Looks great! Looks like the Ice magwell took up some of the exposed mag that showed with the STI magwell. I just ordered a Edge this morning so I was just curious.

  4. i'm going with 9 mm, extra rounds and lot of A's.

You mean ONE extra round. You can have 9 in a mag, as opposed to 8 in 45acp.

10 in the mag +1 in the chamber :D

Where are you getting 10rd 9mm mags?

I'm curious as well. I've heard the .38 super mags would work but how reliable are they in the 9?

  5. Ordered the 771's and received them a couple of days ago. Very well made and I really can't see how the mags could easily fall out. The only thing I see is the tension screws may need some loctite to retain them as when they are adjusted to where I get a smooth release the screws feel like they could back out really easy. Or maybe instead of loctite, just remove the washer at the head of the screw and replace it with a rubber o-ring to help retain it.

Thanks for the info on these.
