  1. Sorry for your loss Dan.

    Dear Dan,

I, like you, have a canine partner. I, like you, have shared a large part of my life with her. I, like you, cling to memories of the great times we have shared. I, like you, would risk my very life for her. I, like you, will someday have to say goodby.

Dan, there is nothing wrong with grieving for your lost Buddy. Remember the good times and know that he is with a higher power.

  2. One of my buds has a TS. He put some of the aluminum grips on his. What a difference they make!! Anyone can grip this gun now. I have heard CZ is coming out with a short dust cover model this year.

The Witness Limited is worth a look. Retails for around 950.00 and with Grams guts and Arredondo G-17 pads 20 reloadable. I picked one up a month or so ago, have put about 2k rounds through it and 0 malfunctions, very soft shooting. Henning managed a sixth place finish at Nats with it.

  3. There was 4.1 grs. of something that looked exactly like Clays behind a 180 gr. jacketed bullet. Why in the world anybody would want to shoot that load is beyond me.

I know a local GM (Henning) that shoots 4.7 Clays under a 180 grn jacketed bullet, I also shoot that load, but I am a lowley A class and the load is very soft shooting!

  4. Hello: I received mine today. I have one question from you experts out there. I have never looked through one of these before and I don't see one dot, I see a triangle made up of dots. The triangle is off center tilted to the right. Is this normal or did I receive a bad one? Please let me know and all help is appreciated. Thanks Eric

Take it outside and turn it all the way up. It should look more like a dot. Inside, turn down the intensity some and it will look more like a dot. Indoors they never look like a well formed dot.

  5. You know, having played these gun games for 20+ years two events stand out that really inspired me.

The first was back in Ohio at a local IDPA match where I was SO. A guy in his 60s shot the whole match hobbling around on two canes. His knees were obviously arthritic to the point of not functioning. He shot the whole match with some old .38 revolver and a Uncle Mike's rig. Not quick and obviously in pain with every step...but he was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.

The second was the Space City Challenge last year. A guy from LA came up the the stage I was ROing who had one arm that was affected by a birth defect. In essence that arm and hand were of no use to him. He had a plate on his belt so he could manipulate reloads and shot the whole match "strong hand". He was damn good too.

Both of these guys were in my opinion, flat amazing. I think about them now when I get flustered with my "almost 50 eyes" or tendonitis flares up in my elbow on match day and I want to bitch about it.

handicap they are more than welcome on any stage I am working. I can run a timer and push a wheelchair if necessary. Our sport is a lot bigger than scores and equipment rac

As far as I am concerned, as long as we can safely accomodate anyone with any supposedes.

  6. I predict there will be a new Revo winner this year. JM's the nicest guy, but the talent is really getting ramped up. Now his brother will tell him what's been said and someone will be having to hose down JM's Revo after each stage! :D

Dan, Mike (only known human to have beaten JM in a Money Match) & Cliff all have serious chances. Then there's Brister and Kettels if they were to shoot Revo.

I'd pay to see that DVD. (Hint to USPSA).

Jerry got his *** handed to him at the Handgunner in the Finale shootoffs by a guy named Wade Terry! Bud Bond went on to win the shootoff and the title of World Open Revo Champ.
