  1. We must all have our visions:-) You dont need to be worried.. My split times on reloads are about 3,4 seconds.. So I dont think im gonna make my name in Guinness recordbook yet..
  2. Does somebody know at what distance Jerry Mickulek shot from when shooting the famous 6+6 with reload in 2,99 seconds? And if it was one or more targets? EDIT: Sorry for my bad english, Im just a happy swede:-)
  3. Wow.. I recognize my major load:-) The première were on a lev 3 competition, Sandaknallen in Årjäng (Sweden). The recoil feels great.. No problems with poppers:-) Thanks to Cooper 999 who have helped me a lot with advice!! Are you using 38 Short Colt Brass or 38 Long Colt Brass to acheive this load and do you have the over all length measurement. Yes it is 38 Short Colt brass. The OAL is 32,25mm. (1.270 inch) (Edited with the OAL)

    sp-101

Dave, I think you have wrong there. I have tree hammers Ruger orginal, one trigger Ruger orginal. The only thing that would be hard to get is the cylinder.. I have Wolffsprings hammersprings to reduce the trigger pull. So I have not modificate any other patrs inside. So basicilly the gun can be restored as orginal (excecpt for the cylinder) But of course you have right; if I had to send the gun to Ruger, they probaly will replace the cylinder with a new one and charge a lot for it..

    This is my Ruger SP101:-)
  8. Now i have loaded 38 Short Colt with 5,7 grains N350VV. It works very well. I had no cronograph this time, but i think major is no problem. The only thing is that after 5 shots the 6 round had travel a little bit out of the brass, I have tried more crimp but it seems to happen now too. The bullet i use is H&N copperplated. In my case the reason to load them long is to avoid free escape.. Shooting S&W 686 with 6" barrel, not ported. Next project is to try 200gr bullets load..
  9. At last i found a good load for 38 Short Colt. Used 6,5 grains 3N37VV. H&N 158 grains Hollow Point, OAL 31 mm. The speed between the slowest and fastest load was 347m/s and 355 m/s (1138 fps 1164 fps) No problem with major factor:-) Only problem is unburned powder, not much but enough to make an fast reload to be an slow.. Im gonna buy some N350VV and make some loads to see if it can be better.. From left: 9x19, 38 Short Colt, 38 Special 25m free two hand shooting:
  10. We have an old chronograph Pact PC2 in our shootingclub, the instruction/manual has disapper.. Is there anyone of you using Pact PC2? If its possibly to send a copy? I have looked into Pact homepage but I cant find any email to them.. (sorry for my bad english, im a swedish!)
  11. All suggestions are interesting, Do you shoot IPSC? What is the PF for your load? Maybe i should get some Red Dot powder.
  12. Im looking for loads for 38 Short Colt for my S&W 686, .357 magnum. What do you use? Im gonna use it for IPSC:-) The powder I have is: VV N-310, VV N230, Vectan BA10, Vectan BA09. If i look in Vectan Ba09 the are loads for both 9x19 and 38 Special. Im thinking of start loads with 4,0 grains Ba09 for 125 JHP. Does it sounds crazy?
