Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. well said, Stefan. What a great match! And, WOW! the prize tables were huge, with 14 guns for the taking. Hats off to Aaron Hampton and his team; please consider overseeing this again for us, as you lend some comic relief that I feel we would miss if you didn't return next year. Thanks to Sandra, too, who cut her teeth in stats with Linda and co.... Probably the last time we'll see her adding, checking, and entering... Aaron, if we can pull this off again next year, please consider the M203 as a side match where we can put up a few bucks, and have some more fun! That gun was a hoot! I would like to compliment my fellow RO's on stage 9 for their work and commitment: Greg Coker, Greg Wilson, Mark Silva, and Todd Seigmund. It was a pleasure working with you all, and I look forward to the shooting and working the next one! Thanks a bunch. Trey
  2. I will be there for all the Lexington Mafia guys that can't make it... Looking maybe to share a ride down from KY with someone?? Wanting to leave Fri morning to Anniston... have ammo, and three guns... ready to go! Trey
  3. Has anyone heard or seen any results from Oct. '06 rifle, pistol, or subgun matches?
  4. Linda, are the stages posted anywhere on the Ft. Benning sight? I looked but could not find them. Will they be up before match? Thanks, Trey
  5. Tewlman, funny that you were minor and still beat some major PF master shooters!!!
  6. Thanks for the help guys. Ken, your pic shows radius work on the area just below the sharp area of the barrel that is causing me problems. Benny, you also say to do some radius work on the throat area. The place I am seeing hang-ups is just above the lug area that Ken's pic shows on his web site. The beveled edge that the shell extractor hits and rotates counterclockwise on is what's biting into my shells. Can I polish that sharp edge a little?
  7. Got an M1. Had feed ramp modified to prevent pinching (Same as Bennie Hill treatment), reduced-weight bolt. when shell comes off of carrier and starts into chamber, it catches on the sharp edge of the barrel at about 2'o'clock and stops everything. Wondering if anyone else had similar experience with modified benelli and what's easiest fix? thought about taking dremel to edge and slightly polishing radius to keep it from digging into shells.???
