  1. As far as I know their never was any instructions, you want to put on the mount with the trigger pin replacement screw use a couple of sight mount screws against the slide to level it. Mark and drill your holes for the cylinder portion of the internal retaining nut, heat up the rim portion of the nut and push it into place. That's how John Nagel does it, the flat part of the rim goes to the bottom. Don't heat it up in the frame, hold it with needle nose pliers, get it just hot enough to push flush on the inside of the frame. It shall become one with the frame if done correctly.

  2. I thought about trying WST for major. It seems that everyone that uses it is loading long. I have to load to 1.135" for my XDm. Going off of Winchester's published data, it seems that there would be too much pressure to achieve Major velocities with 180 gr bullets. Right now I'm using Universal with Berry's 180 gr DS FP bullets to hit major. Recoil doesn't seem that bad, but I don't have that much experience with other powders in .40 s&w to compare it to.

Does anyone use WST for major at these shorter OAL's?

I've been shooting open for the last few years but used to shoot Limited, when I gave up on n320 because of availability I went to WST for my Glock G35. I loaded the same length as you, I used 175gr. Laser Cast SWC with I think 4.3gr. of WST I shot thousands and thousands of that load it was very accurate, recoil was light and I never had signs of being over pressured.

thanks...what was the PF with this load in your Glock?

I went and looked at my load data it was a 170gr. bullet and 4.5 gr. of WST the power factor was 170

  3. The most obvious question is what do you need the gun for? Is it simply as a pocket pistol or will you consider an IWB gun? The answer to those questions might help a bit in defining what might work best given the situation.

I think it is a little big for a pocket pistol, I would use it IWB.

  5. I have 3 Ti strikers in my spare parts box and o in my guns. I can feel more resistance against the trigger bar when you pull the trigger with Ti opposed to steel. I like lightened steel or stock over Ti and think your money would be better spent on ammo.

  6. (Both at 1.145 OAL, 7.6 grs. Silhouette or 7.0 grs. of AutoComp with 124/125 gr. bullets. 170 P.F. in my guns very pleasant to shoot and very accurate. YMMV start low.)

I use Standard small pistol, anything but Rem. or Wolf. And the loads are not compressed, AutoComp is really dense 8#s come in what looks like a 4# container.

  7. If your using small pistol primers, and they aren't Rem. or Wolf install a 4# Wolff striker spring. You'll have a better trigger and your recoil spring will be better matched to your striker spring.

  8. Has the front spring attachment point been relocated by someone doing trigger work? I relocate it on all the Glocks I do trigger jobs on, but If you leave the original hole as is the current trend you have to make sure the spacing is correct or it will bind. This would be two holes on the trigger bar tang, you would use the top one and snake the loop on the spring through the bottom one.

  9. I always carried spares but only broke one in about 18 years of shooting Glocks. Use Glock factory springs and make sure they are installed correctly, the opening on the spring should be down at the trigger bar or it will bind and break.
