I have one.  Had it for about a year.  I have a 9mm and a 40S&W top end.

Very tight with zero failures in any accord.

Virgil does a great job with fitment and will accommodate various requests.

That is a single stack right?

  2. I understand and agree with most of your comments, but...here we go...as long as you have a product out there with your name on it....you are "responsible" for it, NOT the product itself but the NAME, SVI.

If you decide not to offer some type of service or at least work with the customer then NEW customers will NOT buy your product thinking that it will happen to them too.. right?

If it is an old pistol and there are a lot of things that need to be repaired, changed or updated then inform the customer and let him/her make the decision.

I love SVI, they were extremely helpful with me when I decided to start the process.  It never flourished, but it was my decision.  I am not hating.

I think it may be a combination of them moving out of the competition market, combined with reports of poor quality and long wait times for repairs.  I've experienced no such problems with mine.

The other thing is, they made a huge number of guns.  There are just more of them in the world, so they're more common.

I agree with you 100%.  I was just curious about it.

Quality is not the same and too much production combined with the "John Wick factor" like MadBomber mentioned.

Also,  I have never liked the polymer grip.  It is a negative for me when you are paying over 2k for a pistol...no ..no

  4. Is it me or STI pistol seems to be everywhere?  I am not trying to put them down, but just pointing out the fact that lots of people are selling them.  I consider them good quality pistols...Has anything changed ?

  5. In my humble opinion, once again....there are good lubes and real good lubes, but at the end they are "all good" and do the job.  Clean your gun often, after every match, and whatever lube you use...will be OK....in  my humble opinion, once again.
