  1. What sig is ready to mount a DPP?
  2. I do not want to spend 6000 on the gun, before fees. I have up to 5k to spend, but it needs to include holster and magazine, etc.
  3. Oh, OK. That makes sense. I think it is still more than I want to spend. I was hoping to have enough money left to buy a holster and magazines, etc. Not to spend every penny, then add 1000$, then have to buy 1000$ worth of magazines too.
  4. I'm 1001% asking a lot of questions, I'm super confused. Could you explain how the Honcho shoots three categories? I thought it really only fit in one at a time? I don't think I can afford to spend 6k on this at this time though.
  5. Convergence of overtime, selling personal effects, and stress - I've got about 5k to spend on a single gun. I also basically stole a Leupold Delta Point from a buddy - zero rounds through it, no box, 250$. He mounted it to a Walther but never shot it. Only pistol I have right now is a Hi Power. I'd like to try USPSA, I'd like to try optic shooting. What category does that mean? And what guns should I rent? I have always loved heavy steel guns, like the Shadows and 2011s, but aren't there total weight limits and doesn't an optic mean CO or open, only? I have always wanted a 2011, but think it would be a waste of money? Is there power factor in open? Would you still want a .40 to be competitive? Would it be stupid to try shooting that for fun, or with a 9mm? My friend shoots what he calls falling steel, would an open gun be allowed at something like that? I have considered buying a shadow 2, or a glock, and just having 1 slide for irons and 1 slide for optics. s#!t tier idea? The Shadow seems like it would be redundant with the hi power, except better in every way? Also Shadow 2 is crazy expensive, I do like the Shadow 2 Orange, but doubt it could be milled. And people say you need to spend a lot on glocks to get them 'good for competition', which intimidates me. Even if I decided to go stupid and do a 2011, how could I even try one to make sure it fits me? I do not see any rentals near me. Basically I am trying to figure out what to do with the delta point, because I have bought it. And I have too much 'fun money' so I am having analysis paralysis and have way, way, too many options.
  6. I think the springer precision might not require grip change, but I'm not sure yet. Looks like most/all will require a magazine base pad change just due to how it works. Springer changes the magazine brake, might be worth looking at. CZCustom has base pads specifically for the 18 round SP magazine so might be able to combine the two for what you want?
  7. Oh, yeah. Armorcraft was what I meant. Not sure why I typed CZ armory. Same link etc. Thanks.
  8. Google turns up a CZ Armory magwell that looks almost like yours, did you mean that? CZUB doesn't turn up anything. Though that one does require swapping to short grips.
  9. OK. So I'm confused easily by magwell stuff for some reason. What is a 'mag break'? It's also spelled brake on the page a couple times. I do like the look of that one since it wouldn't require new grips. I'm assuming I would want or need base plate extensions, which looks like since I'm using 17 round Mecgar magazines (with a couple +2 base plates) I would use this: https://shop.springerprecision.com/Springer-Precision-CZ75-EZ-140mm-base-pads-Mecgar-17-round-mag-SP0318.htm

    SP01 magwell?

I was looking to add a magwell to my SP01. Called CZCustom and they told me that I'd need/want to use the +2 baseplates they sell, but those only work with the 18 round SP magazines, and do not work with Mecgar magazines at all. I bought the SP used so I'm using a mixture of 17 and 19 round Mecgar magazines. Anyone offer insight here? Did the CZC rep misunderstand my question? Would I need to convert to SP01 mags before doing the rest of the conversion? It was nearly 400$ for the magwell, baseplates, short grips, and mainspring plug. Adding on 5 new magazines on top of that is a bit prohibitive.
