I have an X5 match target Bar-Sto barrel and it shows a metric crap ton of wear marks and scratches. I don't care about it but just worth noting if you want stainless.
I installed a barsto, it was noticeably scratched just from racking the slide while fitting it.

Anyone have some time with the newer Romeo1 6 MOA? I’d like to know how it holds up over 10k rounds+. I’ve tried one out, and I like how bright it is.
I used a DPP last season, and while I like it, I couldn’t get more than 3-10k rounds on them before they broke. I had to send in 7 to Leupold to be repaired.

3 months and many hours of use. Ive had no further issues since they replaced the initial bad pouches.

I was told Sig discontinued using the lifter spring. I’ve had some with and some without it. All function fine.

It fits the mag gauge, I have one and have tested.

I’ve been through 4 just this year. One was bad out of the box, the other 3 went bad between 5k and 10k. The reliability of all red dots, except maybe the rmr, have a ways to go.

What are you guys using for lubricant on these X5's that are having feeding/cycling problems? How many rounds through it?
I am using grease on the rails and oil on the barrel and slide. I've been running a 13lb spring with both 147gr and 125gr at 130PF with no issues in the last 10,000 or so I've put through it. I did find that I had to break in my slide/barrel fit over several thousand rounds until it was perfect. Prior to that I did have an annoying issue where it wouldn't go fully into battery with a 13lb spring if I press checked it or didn't let the slide go forward with full force.
I grease the rails and oil the rest. I have atleast 5k rounds on each gun.
I initially started out out with a 12# spring, ran great for about 2k rounds, until it crapped out on the first stage of the first match with the gun. The slide would sit slightly out of battery after each shot. I had to push the slide back into battery with my finger after each shot to finish the stage. I ended up stretching the spring by hand, and that got me through the rest of the match.
I switched to a 13# but had the same issue after a couple thousand rounds. With a 14# spring, I’ve had no problems in the last 6k rounds.

I have 2 P320 X5s. neither will cycle reliably with less than a 14lb spring.. I run 133-135pf ammo.
-
I’ve had to send 3 pouches back for the same problem. The replacements have had no issues.

I have been using a 14. I tried a 12 and the gun wouldn't cycle reliably. I use 147 grain bullets loaded to 133 PF.

I tried everything with my G34. 11lb spring, polish extractor, raised PF up to 140. I was able to reduce, but not eliminate the optic hits. Of all that, polishing the extractor worked the best. I tried the apex extractor, marginal improvement at best.
I recently switched to a P320 X5, guess what? Brass hits the optic......

I use a 34, but I feel I shoot it better. I started with a 17. I don’t think I’d use a 19, IMO it’s hard to do the gun handling as well with the smaller frame, and it would feel out of balance with a 140MM mag.

I’ve had a Johnny trigger on my gen4 34 for a few month now and it’s by far my favorite. I’ve tried apex, zev, glocktriggers.com and pyramid, and it is simply head and shoulders above them.
