I run a 10lb recoil with a shock buffer and a 15lb main spring. Very minimal muzzle dip and no function issues.

Hey there,
not sure if you’re looking for duty use (retention or not), but RDR Gear makes their own holsters and sells Safariland stuff. It’s usually in stock. Also Staccato has several choices on their website if you haven’t checked there yet.
best of luck!

you will likely prefer the 11lb out of the three
Tried all three, you were right. The 11# had the best return to battery for me with minimal front end dip.

150 Syntech, 147 Precession Delta, and 147 Atlanta Arms all work in mine.
11 # recoil and 10.5 # hammer spring.

$20K spent on 2011s that didn’t work right... ouch. Sorry things didn’t work out. Did you at least get most of ur investment back from selling them?
Also, do you have a railed 9mm 2011 laying around that’s problematic? I’m looking for a winter project lol

another option is go with the mos, but get an aftermarket plate. This is what I have and their explanation below. Forgive me, but I’m not able to post the hyperlink...
The CHPWS V4 Series of adapter plates has evolved over the past five years because the OEM mounting plates are the weakest link in the Red Dot System.
The new MIL/LEO V4 Series addresses the mounting hardware while retaining our industry leading thread engagement.
All new V4 plates will feature our Patent Pending replaceable stainless steel T-Nuts and stainless steel Torx® head screws which are used to mount the RDS (Red Dot System) to the V4 plate giving you the ability to replace the mounting hardware without replacing the entire plate.
The V4 Series retains it’s industry leading six to seven full revolutions of thread engagement for maximum retention. The secret to retaining MRDS’s on pistols is not the material a plate is made from – IT’S THREAD ENGAGEMENT!!! -
If this is real, I have no words... you could get a really decent SV or Nemesis to shoot in style. I’m a Glock fanboy as much as the next guy but wow lol

+1 for AZoom!
They last forever and come in value packs.

Sounds like a plan! Thank you!

Reading books on uspsa from subject mater experts will help tremendously too. Gain the knowledge beforehand and understanding the concepts before putting finger to trigger will definitely help to sharpen the learning curve and save you some ammo!

Santa got me a CZ TSO in .40. It comes with what appear to be recoil springs in several different weights. I read through the manual and didn’t get any clarification as to what the spring weights are.
Does anyone know how to tell what is what?
any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I have a bottle of full synthetic 5w20 mobile 1 mixed with a bottle of full synthetic automatic transmission fluid. Costs about $15 and you have more lubrication than you’ll ever need lol.
I also run Lucas red and tacky on my rails for pistol and bolt carrier groups for rifle.
this works for me in the Midwest no matter the temperature...

yes ... but for a duty rifle or shooting inside the VG6 cage device is an absolute necessity if you are going to use the Epsilon.
100% agree.

The Springfield operator with an x300 will accommodate a 2011 with a tlr variant or x300. That’s their generic 19/2011 5” holster that works for 5” guns. Watch out if you order anything for a staccato, most of their railed pistols are 4.1” or 4.4” which won’t work.

If you’re looking to test the waters and don’t want to drop a lot of cash right off the bat, Holosun 507-c would be something to look at also.

this works pretty well too!

Worst case scenario, if it gets “ugly enough” cosmetically, you can sand it down and polish it back up... being that it’s aluminum it shouldn’t take more than a little bit of elbow grease to make it look new.
personally, I like the beat up look... makes me feel like I’m putting in the work to get better!

I did the whole grip. It turned out alright. It was hard to work within the time constraints to get it even. But, it’s better than nothing and Its now black not bright stainless from the factory.

Sorry for the delay guys, but I just got the grip this week and was out of town until Saturday night.
Overall the grip looks great and the Cerakote Finish is well done. I put the frame on one of my other pistols and it popped right in without any fitting (it was an STI Frame with a TG series serial number).
My only concern is that while on the frame, all of my magazines would bind during the last quarter inch of insertion prior to seating. I haven’t messed with it yet, but looks like I have to put a little relief into the rear side of the frame for the magazine to seat comfortably (like the grip angle of the grip is off by a few degrees). In any event, I’m swamped with work at the moment, so hobbies have to take a back seat before I can investigate any further.
Overall, The grip is sweet. My Dawson mag release fit right in as did the x-line vario trigger I had laying around.
I had a Limcat magwell laying around, but it would not pop right on. Looks like I’d have to relive the front strap to make it fit.
let me know if you have any other questions!

I just ordered one of their plain grips for skater tape. Once I get everything put together, I’ll post an update with answers to the questions if I’m able to do so.

I haven’t pulled the trigger on this yet, still researching, but it looks pretty decent for the price and it has a barrel bushing so you can run L10 or SS. Only thing I don’t like is it’s series 80 internals. But I guess you could always gut those need be.

All of mine are 17 round capacity mags. I think the 18s are a bit longer or something. All the same I didn’t have any issues with either mag accepting the aftermarket pads. I think you should be fine.
C&H Precision adapter for Glock MOS, thoughts?

I have a PWS V4 Mil/LEO on a Gen5 G34 married up with a Holosun 507. Ive been using it for about a year; No problems. FWIW, the mount is both better and more secure than the factory MOS system (IMO). The screws from C&H grab more meat in the slide and it has a more precise fit.
