Thanks, I'll give them a call Monday.
-
I guess that should now be a thanks for nothing. I'll NEVER try to use them again!!!!!!!
-
I'd ask for him EVERY time I shoot. It does not piss me off at all and I can give as big of a you know what eating grin back at them as they shoot my way. If there is not a rule preventing it, shove off.
-
Thanks!!

I managed to break this spring while putting the gun back together. Where can I find a replacement?
-
It is much better than stock, but I still worked mine over some more to make it even better. Speed Shooter Specialties has the kits in stock if you need one.
-
Of course you didn't see a frown, they charged you a $20 penalty if you did And you are welcome for the 72 round stage

I like the end of the school year also, but for a completely different reason.
-
Shannon, thanks but if I'm watching it will be from the drivers seat of my 1911. I had never seen that from any match before, so I was just wondering. My calendar for the next school was just posted and I happen to have that friday off and Thursday is a workday. I might be able to make it this year.

The problem was I read it like a dozen times and never saw the required reload. Seems good now that I read the entire thing.
-
Never mind.

$1 admission fee for spectators? Is that just a joke to see who is reading the page?
-
Yep, the shooter went on a diet last year, but forgot to tell the gun to do the same! Had a blast anyway and finished about the middle of the pack at 58% Go figure.

with iron sights on a skinny single stack. Now that's what I'm talking about baby!!!
-
Check with Speed Shooters Specialties, he might have one laying around.
-
Mario, I was just thinking that we might not recognize each other. Between us we have lost a whole person.
-
Ricky, I can trade you some MG 124's for those. I mainly use the zero 147's in single stack.
-
Ricky, your M&P might not like 147's with a factory barrel. Check for tumbling before you make a lot of ammo for it.

I am going to disagree with the others on the z axis DRO. I used a buddies mill with just the dials for over a year and thought it was fine. Then I bought my own machine with a 3 axis DRO. I would not go back to just using the dials ever again. This may not be a must have item, but it really is nice. If it does not break the bank, go for it.

I didn't take anything off the top, but I have one I'm working on right now that I am doing some serrations on the flat top.
-
Rich, I must be running everything in slow motion. My set up only takes a couple of minutes, but the cuts take for ever. How fast are you feeding the slide into the cutter?
-
Yes, it had the black removed. That is some tuff stuff now.
-
Glad you like it. Someone showed me a gun and asked if I could do that. I said sure, but wanted to change it a little and I did. This took about an ounce and a half out of the slide.

OK, now I know what my summer project is going to be. I just opened up enough space in the shop for one of these to fit.
Grip safety spring
in Springfield (XD)
Posted
The springs were listed as in stock so I ordered them. Once a little over a week went by, I called to check on them. I had to leave a message, no response. Called a second time and left a message, no response. Then a third time and finally a fourth time and got a hold of them( I waited at least 24 hours+ between calls). They then said that there was a sudden rush on this spring and it was out of stock. I told them that I was sitting here with a broken gun all this time. All they had to do was send me an email or call or something to let me know. My credit card was charged in minutes after the order was placed, but they can't keep up with their inventory, send a backordered email or even return a call? I don't believe a word of it, since I just said I ordered springs(not mentioning which springs) and the excuses started pouring out.
