Not really sure how to measure it. But I'm using a 1050 so I can tinker with it.

You can use the bottom of your calipers to check the depth. I try to go five thousands below flush.

  2. It is very odd that this combo would not work. The 11.5 with CCI and WIN has been great for me. Do you have a another 11.5 or extended firing pin spring to try out? Could be an off weight spring.

  3. Take your slide off and insert the mag, you will see where the follower hangs up on the slide lock pin. Just remove some material from the follower so they will drop free. I had to do this when using a Nitro Fin on my TS.40. This is with the CZCustom spring and followers, no need to bend the spring.

  4. All the rounds I've run through my hundo have loaded and fired perfectly. If it is a little looser than other gauges, it can't be by much. Definitely one of the better purchases you can make in your shooting career.

    I agree.

I was in a rush once and didn't thoroughly rinse a load of 9mm and the cases were sticking like crazy in the dies.  After about 10 rounds I threw them all back in for another clean/rinse and chalked it up to a lesson learned.

That happened to me once, I had a batch of 9mm in my frankford wet tumble and forgot to take them out after the spin cycle. They had this green sticky film on them and it was a struggle to get them cleanish to even run through the press. So now I set an alarm on my phone so I don't have to go through that again.

  6. 2.5 for me. If it is not a night I load on, I will go in and clean it up from time to time. When I load that is all I focus on and close up shop right away. It is easier for me to walk away since it is in a shed and not a room in the house.

  7. Everglades Ammo is down there, Mark 7 Reloading as well. Generally quite a bit of the larger matches in florida are hosted on matchsignup.org only a few are on practiscore.

I reload in a wood shed, but keep all my components inside the house.

    Gun Craft Inc (Ruskin)

Hansen Range & Gun Club (Punta Gorda), they host the custom gun classic around November.

Wyoming Antelope Club (Clearwater), they host the factory gun classic the first weekend of December.

    Shoot GTR (Gainesville)

Volusia Gun & Hunt Club (Volusia)

    Universal Shooting Academy (Frostproof)

OK Corral (Okeechobee)  Area 6 Championship will be there in two weeks.

I'm sure there are many others, but off the top of my head these are some of the more popular facilities.

  8. I'm using N320 for both 9mm and .40S&W. Precision Delta for my .40 180gr JHP, and Zero bullets for my 9mm 147gr JHP. If I were to go the coated route again I would use SNS Casting. SNS is super slick and I've never had any sizing/weight issues with them.

It took a little tinkering around to figure out what I liked, but N320 is a great powder for metering and soft shooting.

Ryan, any issues with the 10 coil springs reliably feeding. I see CZC also offers a 13 coil spring for the P09 as well.

No issues, they have been working great. I believe the 13 coil is for a 170mm mag for Open.

Well, I think I really need to see a few more red dot sights before I make my decision. I have a tendency to go with what I have experience with, but that's not always the best decision. That said, I'm leaning towards the RST2.

Next time you are at a match ask a competitor if you can see their sight at the safe table, that's how I got around to getting a cmore for .22 and dpp for carry optics.
