This year I will be shooting more semi auto's and leaving my wheel guns home more. It's sad but my auto's need love also.
-
forgot to add that you might also ask in the steel challenge section.
-
I tried this on my Volquartsen. It actually worked pretty good, but decided I wanted a larger dot.
-
I have not had a hip replacement my self but a few guys at work have. Generally speaking 6 to 8 weeks seems about right.
-
I really like the Big Butt no grove,it still feels like there is a small grove at top.
-
I voted other, as I really like the Dan Wesson 44. Dan Wessons are very accurate and have the ability to change barrells. Oh ya bonus they are beautiful.

You have to press a button to "roll" the speedloader into a circle as you draw it from the belt so that the rounds will line up with the chambers.
THEN you have to orient the button facing away from the gun otherwise you can't reach it to press it and release the rounds.
So they're adding even more f*#kery to a process that's already ultra fumble-prone.
AND it costs fifty freaking bucks!
LOL
Hard Pass
+1 way to much trouble and expense

Very good observations. I've not had trouble picking up the Dot. It just seems when I focus on the target I "lose?" the Dot. It almost as if my vision doesn't see it? Kind of like if a leaf blows across in front of my gun while shooting I don't see it.
I put in a full year trying to get it down and never saw any improvement. Even in ICORE where.
Since I do shoot a lot of USPSA with a Revovler I've decided to just put the Dot aside and focus on Irons for everything.
I find I need to focus on the target, when I see the dot I pull the trigger, other wise I start moving my head to dot and other wise mess up badly. Take what I say for what its worth as I am a B shooter closing in on A. As I think Jerry said its that simple but its just that hard.
Anyway best of luck, and thanks for all you posts as I really enjoy them.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

I have been using 231 now for several years in 45 and 9mm, I'm happy with my choice.

Welcome aboard

I run the JP 22 and the GMR15
https://www.ssusa.org/articles/2020/12/8/jp-rifles-1-bag-2-guns-4-divisions
I have them set up basically the same, except for the stock. I haven't had really any issues, nothing different then the Tac-Sol 10/22. Maybe a light strike every once in awhile, and it didn't like the CCI 22 Clean coated bullets on feeding.
It is set up with the ultra light barrel and MLok handguard to reduce as much weight as possible, same with the GMR15
Great Wright up. Thanks for sharing.
All I need to do is find one, they seem to be unobtainium.

I am really interested in this rifle for steel challenge as I shot a GMR 15 for PCCO and be-leave it would be help full to shoot a near duplicate for steel. My question is has anyone shot one shot one and is it worth the bang for buck. Any help would be much appreciated as their is not to much info out there. Thanks

Natchez just sold out of cci SPP, listed at $84/1K . One of our group bought 5K, came out to $98/K with hazmat, tax and shipping.
About what I was paying for a completed 9mm round not so long ago.

I have a v comp and a TRR8. the R8 is ten oz lighter. For me I shoot the v comp a little better.
I have shot the v comp for a lot longer and feel like it is much steadier. Having said that I think the R8 might be faster if I worked with it more often. I don't get to practice as often as I like so come match day I'm shooting the v comp.

To bad I think a lever gun would be fun.

Check the trigger pre-travel set screw. If you're getting a positive reset after pushing the trigger forward, it probably means your pre-travel screw is in too deep and is preventing the trigger from traveling forward far enough to reset consistently. This happened on my Black Mamba from the factory; backing it out solved the problem.
+1 this has happened to me a few times.

Not just young people, it'll make the hardest part of this game (the shooting) stupid easy which will move people from other divisions to these new rimfire divisions.
I think on top of asking "should we allow Rimfire" we should be wondering "are we okay if the sport moves to majority rimfire" as that's a possibility once the door is open.
I shoot steel challenge! Last 8 stage match I shot only had 35 entries and several people shot 3 guns, myself included. Only 3 people shot the main match, one CO one Open and myself in OSR. So to me your concern is very real. This has been the trend all summer.

I will stick to my V comp, but I only shoot steel challenge. Would love to try a 929 but they seem to have to many problems.
STI Tactical 2011 vs Staccato

My Staccato P DUO has been very reliable even with my old STI mags and MBX mags. I do not see anything out there in the same price range to compare. I have not had any malfunctions of any kind.
