  1. I just recently put a CMC 2.5 in my 15-22 and I do like it. That being said I don't feel like I'm any faster. What I did notice is that with the CMC trigger I am getting less light strikes with my practice ammo. I had no light strikes with the CMC trigger.
  2. Have you tried Forest Lake Sportsmen Club or St Cloud Area Practical Shooters Association! Both are great Clubs and worth a look.
  3. Do you shoot at different clubs? If not try others. Also ask around maybe a local GM willing to help.
  4. I have C-more slide rides on my open guns and like them. Something I do not see mentioned is you can get a 90degree mount for the C-more lowering height over bore significantly and fixes the ejection issue.
  5. I would try your XC loads! You will probably have to change the spring I run an 8lb in mine. Light 115gn loads super fun to shoot and great for SC.

I'm guilty of the last! I close the cylinder pull back the hammer a bit and spin the cylinder. Reason being I'm checking for a high primer. Now its been some time since I've found one, but now its habit that I don't plan to change it, just call it part of my sequence to make ready.
  7. Looks like a pretty sweet deal, congrats on a great pistol.
  8. Looks like it is perfectly fine to do so(6.2.3). I might give this a go as well. We only have 1 or 2 matches a month around here so would be a good way to get some reps in. Sure would be a lot of moon clips to load and haul for an 8 stage match. Also its very rare I see somebody shoot only 1 gun and several people I shoot with have enough magazines loaded for the whole match.
  9. check the Vitivori reloading data center. Light bullets usually require more powder.
  10. Agreed its pretty nice to be able to see first shot, split and end times. AMG is a great tool. Ive had my timer for a few years now and think it is worth the wait time.
  11. How did you mount the slide racker? Picture please.
  12. I think this is very well said, and I appreciate the info. I have shot Revolver in steel challenge for a few years now. Earlier this year I decided to just stop shooting revolver for awhile, I was getting worse instead of better. I was trying way to hard. Anyway reading this has helped me understand part of what was happening with my shooting. Thanks IVC.
  13. I have Hornady LNL's for metallic reloading and have been very happy with them. Customer service has always been excellent. I also have a Dillon SL 900 shot shell re loader which has also been excellent and customer service is again outstanding. Wish I could make your choice easy. For me it was what was available locally at the time. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Others will be along soon to help.
  14. They take it pretty good. I think at least as good as a 2x4.
  15. I have a set, and they do work! If you have soft ground they are pretty easy to setup. I finally just bought a 2x4 setup as the range I go to is hard and rocky. Pounding the posts in got to be to much work.
  16. Congrats on the new pres, please keep us informed on your progress.
  17. Maybe check for a used JP GMR, great guns that just run.
  18. CZ custom has a multi optic plate for the Tactical sport
  19. I saw one with a rear sight plate mount.
  20. Thia is good info as I live in mn. I shoot a lot of Revo so thanks. Great looking gun.
  21. I made up some 9mm 115 gr SNS coated rounds for my 11 yr old grandson to shoot from my Sig 320 X5. He had a lot of fun, but with his grip I will need to go to a lighter recoil spring. He had a few fail to eject. I will say they were a lot of fun to shoot and accurate enough for steel challenge.
