It's riveted.  Call it whatever you want. The main thing is that you will be satisfied.  😉

I may have asked this before, but which part is the Tanfo slide stop for a TSO?  I searched a little, but not sure I found the right part number.

    Thanks!

...I'll post a follow up along with pics of what I did to the follower once I get the parts and run a few rounds through it at the range.

    Hey ML123,

Did you get your parts; have you been able to take some pics?  I too, would like to see just where and what you trimmed off the stock follower legs to increase the capacity.

...I'd buy a good, used TS, do a grip reduction and have either CZC or CGW work the gun over and upgrade....

    zzt,

i have a TS, and when you say have them "work the gun over and upgrade", what would they do to improve it?

And what is done for a grip reduction?

    Thanks!

...My TSO’s stock  triggers were 14 ounces and have worn in to 12 ounces which are perfectly useable for me. The Titan triggers were phenomenal but I don’t feel that I am giving up anything with m6 CZ triggers. I also have a newish CM and it’s trigger is 15 ounces and I am just breaking it in this year.

Wow, 14 oz trigger out of the box!   I have worked on mine; best I can get is 1 lb-4 oz.

Here’s a TS diagram I have, can’t locate one specific to the TSO but I know the majority of parts are the same.

Yeah, that's it!  Where you find it?

IIRC, this is the only one; no specific TSO diagram.

But I thought it had part numbers, or SKUs.  Guess not.

I’ve got small parts from both CZC and Cajun, just depends on the parts I’m in need of, I try to keep spares of all the extra springs I might need on hand, what specific parts are you looking for?

Thanks, I am making a list.

Guess I was more concerned I can no longer find that exploded-view of the pistol with p/n diagram at CZ-USA.  It seemed to help me a lot, lol.

  7. Where do you guys get minor spare parts that sometimes break or get lost like springs?

CZ-USA used to have a detailed "exploded view" of the pistol detailing the part numbers, but i cannot find it on the new "improved" web site.

Is CZ Customs the best place to look?

So the magwell no longer needs to be blended? Could you take a picture of that? I'm curious to see what they changed.

Has the frame been modified and blended, or is this a newer better fitting magwell?

  9. ... Invariably you'll love it because Open is awesome, then you'll buy $2,000 worth of reloading gear, $5,000 worth of guns, then spend $10,000 developing your own comp [emoji16]

You almost added, "Ask me how I know", didn't ya?
There is a wealth of knowledge in your threads, thanks.

For the control rib: 0.735” just above the mag catch hole

Feed lips: 0.365” in the rear, 0.375” in the front

Those are the numbers that I tuned my mags to.  You'll need a caliper, something to squeeze the mag body with and a pair of feed lip pliers to tune the feed lips.  All my mags were drop free but most measured up around .790" when I got started.  I made some jaws for my vice but this could be done with some vice grips with the narrow jaws.

Take the mags apart and squeeze them down to the .735" measurement.  Make sure they still fit your gun and drop free.  If not you'll need to squeeze them front to back.  Next to do is check the feed lips.  They will likely be smaller so you'll need to open them up.  Tools like these are what you'll need to get them tuned:

Great info.  I assume a lot of trial and error.  Let me ask, what do you use the Locking C-Clamp for?  I see the Chain Pliers is used to open up the feed lips.

It does seem odd... I'm just now buying a bigger mag when ammo is in short supply, lol.

I replace a lot of bushings/bearings on military jets. When I want to “shrink” a bushing for an interference fit there are three methods. Use liquid nitrogen, dry ice with liquid acetone, and dry ice with isopropyl alcohol. Suspend bushings from a wire into whatever solution you choose for about 20-30 minutes and install while wearing a pair of gloves. The nitrogen method is probably not accessible to most people but everyone can get dry ice and isopropyl alcohol. Put enough liquid in a metal container (I use a cheap stainless thermos). Do not put the lid on the thermos for obvious reasons (big explosion from the gas expansion)....

Great info.  Suspend the bearing in isopropyl alcohol and then add the dry ice, correct?

I called Natchez this morning and they could see my order for processing, but I had not received a confirmation email. The CS rep emailed me one and said I should receive an email this afternoon.

In the meantime, I saw the same ammo at Midway and placed another order for the same amount - 500 rounds. I've already received confirmation and a tracking number.

I see that Midway is now out of stock on 9mm Winchester USA Forged 115g.  Maybe you bought the last 500 rounds.

I hope they fix the supply soon.  I do not need another hobby (reloading).

  13. Is this ammo out of stock condition widespread?  Could it be with the recent record sun sales, the ammo is now in short supply?

My first thought was, try Natchez, but I see you did.

  14. Wish I had a Czechmate to measure for you (lol, sounds like some of the answers to questions I see on Amazon).

I am sure you'll get the answers you need from the guys on this forum.

Not yet, I bought the vice and have all tools necessary. I was hoping to do a pre and post comparison first. OEM, vs 10x vs czc bushing modification. I have a extra shadow 2 slide getting milled and fitted for the 1911 style bushing.

I guess the real comparison will be 10x vs 1911 so maybe I will just attempt the install sooner.

I hope your bushing comes out as easily as just holding the slide and tapping the socket extension.  An earlier post here by Demp223 mentioned using a vise to effectively press out the bushing by tightening the jaws against the end of the socket extension and the front of slide just below bushing.

Finally, take care to properly line up the new bushing to fit the sight pin.

    Cheers.

  16. Thinking about trying this install since I staying home anyways. Need to get an 11mm deep socket i believe and 6 inch extension.

Anybody regret doing this themselves lol. Cost about $40 to install at the gunsmith but I have the tools and it seems straight forward.

I'm in CA so the shadow 2 was already hard to get.... maybe it's worth paying a smith.

chomorro, did you end up replacing the bushing yourself?
    Just curious....

  17. The floating pin is held in place by the spring thus doesn’t need to be staked. Pin is reusable again and again.

Reusable pin; yes. Held by my trigger spring; no.

The pin doesn't go through my TSO trigger/spring. Only goes through the trigger bar.
