I run 147 blue rn over 3.2gr n320 at 1.125. Makes 133 pf.

I really like N320. A buddy uses N310 for his which is really soft. I didn’t have my chrono with me so I couldn’t compare pf.

You shouldn’t see much difference.

It is going to be a while before 40 is gone. Surplus brass will dry up a bit as a lot of LEOs go to 9mm but with so many commercial guns in the caliber, we might have a bit more hunting for it but that is about it.

having a sight picture for each shot will provide greater consistency. You can adjust springs to get a bit to get a neutral return.
Shoot video from the side to see what the gun is doing when slide is going forward and into battery. Lighten recoil spring if dipping. Heavier spring if it is returning high.

I shot my first 4-5 months with all loner gear from my brother. Duty belt, 2 cheap double mag holders and blade tech holster. If you are only getting one holster, I’d get a kydex so that you can run whatever division(s) you want.

For pistol use whichever hand is more comfortable. I’m strongly right hand dominant and moderately strong left eye and shoot shotgun left handed but can’t imagine shooting pistol left handed all the time. Miculek had a vid about it and his recommendation was “keep it simple and bring it to your dominant eye”. Simple seems to be pretty effective approach.

The majority of split cases that I have had have been nickel but the percentage is still probably less than .1%

I have had mixed results shooting with people that are much better than me. I do see better stage break downs but at the same time I end up pushing more speed and start going off the rails if I don’t watch myself. Then again it is only a game.

I did surprisingly well for my first match. I was 13/29 in limited at 44% of a good M class shooter. I was happy with it.

Congrats on the 650. Probably the best bang for buck progressive. I still use mine periodically even with having a 1050.

I really like blue bullets 147 gr over N320. Nice and soft.

I’ve pulled blue bullets out of wooden barriers and dirt at practice and the coating looked almost perfect and the bullet deformed. I think I have one laying around that I can post a pic of.

Not an exact match as I use blues vs Ibejihead but I use a good bit of n320.
Both of these loads make around 133 pf in my Glock 34. You could split the difference in powder to get a basic idea.
124gr I use 3.8gr at 1.120
147 gr I use 3.2gr at 1.120
3.5 gr of n320 should put you in low 130s if using 135s.

I’m running the 3# Zev spring with the lightened striker. No issues.

You say that the 200 gr blues are fine and the 180s don’t work at same oal? I would expect the opposite based on bullet shape. I have a lone wolf on my 24 and while tight, I never had an issue.
As far as powder, I use n320 as my main powder but also still using up 16# of WST as practice ammo. 4.6-4.7 gr of either powder under a 180 gr coated at 1.125-1.135 should make major from a Glock 35. They are both reverse temp sensitive and need to increase charge a very little bit in high temperature.

The oal changes and the 200 seat deeper due to the seater engaging the ogive sooner. I adjust the die to make it the same oal for feeding purposes.

Yes. It will help. Imo, it helps balance the pistol out also. At least for the long slide guns.
