  1. I have the MBX 170s for Caspian/Tangfolio and they are much more reliable than the 140mm K-9 stamped tubes (Made by Mech-gar) and followers that came from the factory with my gun

seen them work like a gem in his Caspian

  2. So, for the last 8 years I've only shot 40 major with 180 grain bullets of some kind.  Mostly TMJ and JHP,  but there was a couple thousand coated green bullets.  I currently have another 2.5 K loaded with another 3-4K in stock.  But, once those are gone, I plan to move to Black Bullets International and I wondered if it might be a better fit to move to 200 grain bullets.  I've had great luck with BBI 147s and maybe the 200s would have s similar recoils impulse.

So the question is......180 vs. 200......
200 definitely is softer. I actually use 220s from xtreme because my Para likes bullets at 1.205

  3. Ok, so I asked because I'm trying to get a .40 major load set up for my 2011.

I've never had a problem with any type of bullet and don't believe or feel that one type is much more accurate than the other. I loaded 23k 9mm last year and 90% were plated. 2.5" groups off hand at 25yds with a Glock 34 is pretty common.

Since I'm new to .40 and 2011's just thought I'd ask if the coating\jacket had any affect on the longer oal and the 2011 feeding.

You'll notice a tighter group with the 2011 because the fitting is much tighter than a glock. Hopefully, you'll get down to 1 inch at 25

  4. I always use my barrel as a case gauge to confirm the plunk test. I've found though that flat nosed projectiles have the most trouble. Buy xtreme plated bullets 200 grains. You won't have any issues

  5. Front fiber optic attracts your eyes and gives you a better sight picture through black rear. No distraction with an all black rear. You don't want your eyes fighting over which color to focus on

  6. Same thing that I thought - maybe I was lazy and was too hasty on my shots on the paper but if you look at this video, my pace was consistent in every shot and I tried to make every shot deliberate and yet I had one mike on the paper to the right of the target.

On the second paper shot your front sight was at least 1-2moa above paper that's a miss by a lot at distance on paper
