Does anyone make a kydex holster that will fit a Limited? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I called Dawson, and ordered a new front sight. Hopefully it will fix my problem. Thanks for all the help, Dave
-
I'm not sure how to measure the front sight, but it's .140, if you don't measure the base, .210 if you do. Dawson doesn't have anything shorter than the .140.

I recently purchased a Glock 24 to shoot in Limited. I bought a set of Heinie sights [for the over 50 crowd] and the gun shoots about 3" low at 50ft. What's the best solution for this problem? Thanks for any help, Dave

That's the same problem I had with my 40. The case struck the ejector and went off. Never had a problem with my 45 like this. Hope everyone's ok.

The indentation on the primer was square shaped. Also, the bullet had a very deep smiley face on it. I appreciate all the comments, but I'm going to have to change the way I clear a jam.

How do you check the extractor to see if it's working right? I haven't really done anything to the gun, so it's still stock. Thanks for all the help, Dave

The slide was almost into battery, but wouldn't close, so I tried clearing the jam by holding the slide and striking the backstrap. The brass become mangled when the round went off, out of the chamber. The rounds aren't loaded long, and I was using a flat point bullet.

I'm sure mine hit the extractor, what can be done to keep this from happening in the future ?

I had the rear of my slide between my thumb and index finger finger of my left hand. I took my right hand and hit the back strap, at which time the pistol fired. The bullet was laying on top of the magazine, along with the very tore up casing.

I have a Dan Wesson 40, that discharged a round recently while trying to clear a jam. Apparently, the round hit the extractor and set the round off. It left a very nice reminder on my left thumb. Any help would be appreciated.

I was curious how much it would cost to get a new barrel. Do you know if they sell a 40 bull barrel?

I'm thinking of buying a model 35 to shoot in Production. If I get the 35, I could also shoot it in Limited. Do you think this would work, or should I stick with a model 34?

I have a chance to buy a 6" Hunter 10mm, and want to change it to a 40. I already have a Limited in 40,and wondered if the extra 1 1/4" would be worth the expense? I see a lot of shooters are changing to 6" Limited guns, and this would be my chance to change also. Any thoughts you can give me on this change would be greatly appreciated, Dave.

I use the Wilson 45 mags in my Dan Lesson 40, never had a problem. Good luck, and welcome to SS.

I just came back from my local gun store, and they had a Ithaca 45. Very nice looking gun, all made in Ohio. Would like to know if anyone else has checked one out, and what you thought of it.Price was $1600.

I use the stock walnut grips on mine.

Thanks for all the input. I bought a Gen3 35, now I'll start practicing with it,so I can decide which upgrades I'll need to compete with it.

I'm wanting to buy a new Glock, and would like to know if one is better than the other. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Corey,very nice, clean looking pistol.

Gary, thanks for the reply. I'm trying to get a f/o front sight for the gun,and want to order the right one. Thanks for any help you can give me, Dave.

Does anyone know what front sight will fit a Rock River Arms slide? Any help would be appreciated, Dave

I don't think I'll go this route. I think I'll wait on someone wanting to sell one used. My local gun store quoted me a price of $1050 on the hunter model.
