Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Like my J-Point with 65 minute circle and a 1 minute dot. Sig just came out with a red dot with the 65 min and a 2 minute dot, looked through one, didn't shoot it, seemed clear and crisp. The JP is light and sits low, which I need. A little hard to dial in, the adjustment screws change a lot with very little movement, just have to learn to barely breath on the wrench.
  2. I have a TacMod and really like it. Kind of pricey but adjusts every direction you need.
  3. Nick Kalishek makes a nice upper that actually surrounds much of the chamber area of the barrel. Hard to explain, but with a 1-7 White Oak 18" barrel and ASYM 75 grain ammo I shot 7/16" at 100 yds and 1-3/16" at 200. And I'm not a bench shooter. That was off a Sinclair front rest and a rolled up jacket under the rear.
  4. I like my Seekins lower. Comes with a built-in ambi bolt release that's really handy. Only drawback is that it's a bit heavy. Don't think the low mass has FA cuts so having one on the receiver wouldn't matter. I really like my JP side charge upper. Again, heavy and pricey but really well-made.
