The my SJC comp is on a Factory Glock barrel that was threaded. I don't know the thread pitch Buss. I ran to the range today and tried the gun without the comp and it ran like a top.... so I guess it was the comp. I only intend to run minor - does anyone have a recommendation for a good comp for minor?

Buss54, what comp did you have on there? Can anyone speak to enhanced reliability due to the 90 degree mount? Thanks!

I have a traditional SJC C-More mount and am having ejection issues. I'm noticing that lots of people are touting the 90 degree mount. I have a few questions for the open folks - 1. Have folks gotten traditional mounted SJC C-mores running shooting minor? 2. Is the 90 degree mount that much better? 3. Can I replace my traditional mount with a 90 degree mount? Is it the same screw hole pattern? Thanks for your help! P.S. Yes, my ejection port is lowered. I'm in the process of messing around with recoil springs as well. My load that I've been using is 124 Berry over 4.0 Titegroup at 1.10.

I've got a 41 and an extra set of Dawson's hanging out on my bench - will the rear work? Assuming it does, does anyone know the needed front sight height? Thanks!

I think I'll take it back to the range and try to run it without a comp. If it runs without the comp I'll know its the comp that needs to be changed. Also, I suppose I can try getting to around 150 pf, but at that point I suppose I should just try for Major.

No. Straight mount. Not sideways. Ejection port is lowered. Do you think I'd have success with another comp? In the first response on this thread the poster indicated that he didn't think the comp could be a problem.

I'm having trouble. The rig is a Glock 17 Gen 3 with SJC 11 port comp, along with an SJC C-More mount. Even with 11# springs I'm still getting one out of 10 shells jammed between the slide and the SJC mount. At first I thought it was the recoil spring, but now I don't know what to do. It seems to run fine with hotter ammo and 15# springs, but with minor loads it chokes. What should I be looking at? I'm running 124 berrys over 4.0 Titegroup at 1.10. The load is accurate and comes in at around 137 PF. Do you think I should look at my extractor? Thanks for helping out an open Newbie.

I have a gun I purchased second hand with an 11 port SJC comp. Can I use it to shoot minor, or will it not have enough power to cycle? Should I move to an 11# spring?

I have a Lonewolf slide with a KKM dropin barrel/comp setup. Also a tungsten guide rod with #13 spring. This was purchased as a set, and I have no experience with this platform. (Well, lots of experience with Glocks, just never with a comp) What do yours like to eat? What springs do you run? Thanks!
