  1. Not at all. Very soft actually. Fast powders and heavy bullets are usually softer shooting. The faster powders you just have to be a little more careful with. There is less room for error.
  2. 180gr xtreme, 1.140, 4.6gr titegroup. 170pf out of a ts.
  3. Yes i used the springs it came with. Accuracy seem pretty good so far. Only shot at steel plates though. Havent had a chance to shoot paper yet.
  4. Didnt have the short reset installed. Shot it today. In my opinion it doesnt need it. The one thing it needed was a lighter da trigger pull. I changed the springs before and it seems much better now.
  5. Think they would ship the pistol with the lightest springs already installed?
  6. Recently picked up a shadow orange. It came with a bunch of springs. I noticed they are different lengths but not labeled. Anyone know which ones are the heavier and lighter? The shortest recoil spring came in the gun.
  7. Thanks for the response. Went with the orange. Cz custom was very helpful. Told me the orange is hand fit and that they cant duplicate that work in their shop. Trigger has a short reset but not the "short reset trigger". All you need for that is the pre b disconnector. The way i understood it was that the reset is still the same. The trigger just returns all the way forward after reset without pre b disconnector.
  8. Going to order a cz sp01 shadow. Not really sure of all the differences. Looking at the shadow custom 2014, the orange, or the target 2. Is anyone able to point out the differences? What would you choose and why?

  10. I did measure mag catch hole. Identical to other mags. Yes i have tried the mag tube by itself with no base plate. The empty mag tube with no base plate, spring, or follower doesnt seat. Doesnt seem to have the wiggle room the 9mm mag has Hmmmm. Weird. Do you have another 2011 or know someone else with one where you can try the mags? i have two. They dont seat in either one

  12. Searched for an answer but came up empty handed. I needed more mags and purchased two 38 super mags. I was told by a few people locally and also read it on here that they work in 9mm. They dont seat in either of my two stis which are both 9mm. The mags are the 10rd 126mm mags. I pulled mag and gun apart. I tried seating the empty mag tube into the grip without the slide and they dont seat. 38 super mags are marked 38/9 but measure a tad longer from front to back. Anyone have this problem before? Is it fixable or do i have 2 mags i will never be able to use?
