This is a spring sandwich designed shell plate for 650 / 1050 .Theory is it traps the case into the shell plate eliminating all movement while turning. Supposedly it will do away with plate pins???...I find this doubtful. A long time accessory guy on Ebay Snowshooze is his name is producing these as well as a bunch of other upgrades for Dillon products.
It made me curious for loading Major rounds and powder spillage...we will see.....report to follow ...Happy New Year to al !!!
I tried to find it yesterday to share with everyone, but couldn't find them. IIRC they are $100+ as they were an early prototype.
Edit: must have missed the link yesterday. Here is the shell plate.

It's a pretty far drive, but PASA usually has a classifier match as well. Not a lot of classifier only matches in the area so a lot of people travel to that.

I found this topic regarding american select for 9mm 147 gr. might help.

Interesting.. Thanks for explaining that. Yeah, I could see marking the bracket where the bolt needs to be or something helping, but not having to do it each time makes it a lot easier.

Here is one of my older videos ... You can see the switch mounted to the priming system that the handle contacts on the up stroke. This needs to be removed and reset every time you work on the priming system. Moving it to the bottom of the frame eliminates that, plus cleans up the press so you don't have that hanging off the side anymore

ohh, okay. That makes sense. That would be a very nice upgrade then. I assume with having to reset that switch each time you had to make sure it was back in the right position otherwise that changes the length of the stroke, right?

That's one benefit ... I really like the switch relocation as it's a set and forget piece now. Makes priming system breakdown and reassembly much cleaner and easier

I'm not real familiar with the ammobot system, so sorry about the noob question. What switch does it relocate? The video I saw last night showed a switch (I believe) down near the bottom stroke of the handle.

I saw this on Instagram last night. Looks like a cool change to get rid of having the handle (even the stubby one) from swinging back and forth.

I case gauge every round. I visually inspect the primer seat while case gauging and let the case gauge catch cracks.
This is my method as well.

No problem. Feel free to reply again if that doesn't work.

That's a sweet looking gun. Love the blue accents.

Thanks. That's what I originally thought but the mags from the second G43 don't work in the first G43 either. Also this was an original Glock 6 round mag so adding the +1 floor plate has actually extended the length of the mag spring (lessing the upward pressure). I will take your suggestion and swap springs just in case the spring is jammed inside.
Thanks again.
ahh, I read that wrong. Thought you had said the 2nd set of mags worked fine.. possible maybe the mag catch in the 2nd glock is allowing them to lock in higher than the first one? I know that's a possible issue in 2011s, but not sure it applies to Glocks.

It definitely makes sense for the convenience, I’m just too cheap to want to spend $80 to save a few minutes at a time lol.My thought was people were using it to get an exact drop, but the powder measures seem to have some variation, so this use makes sense.

Sounds possible. Any idea how to check (besides going back out to the range to test fire)? Anything I can measure to verify? I'd love to know for sure so I have confidence in the gun.
Thanks!!!!Does the issue happen in dry fire? Could try this.. Verify gun is empty, cycle slide, drop hammer with the trigger, continue holding and rack the slide again. Does hammer follow the slide? or can you release and drop the hammer again?

One other thought. I recently noticed that the trigger was moving too far back and adjusted the over travel screw. Any chance that could cause this issue?
Thank guys for helping out a 2011 noob!Is it possible that the screw isn't allowing the trigger to reset and the hammer is coming back with the slide?

I have one. It’s going to be hard to make weight with a magwell.
You neee an aluminum guide rod and a plastic mainspring housing.
i ended up tri topping the slide to make weight easier.
Its doable. Just realize you will have to change some parts.
This.. Per SA's website it weight 41 oz from the factory (not sure if that is with a magazine inserted or not.). You would have to cut some weight to be able to add a magwell. Per Dawson's website the 1911 ICE magwell is 1.5 OZ with the mainspring housing. Plus you will have some sort of extended basepad on the magazine that adds a little weight. I'd say you need to shave ~4-5 Oz to be on the safe side.

If I ever get the opportunity to build a range at home, my ideal range would be a U shaped berm. Sounds like you will have a pretty awesome setup.
-
I wonder if you would be able to contact a builder and see if they can do it. I don't think the slide cuts would be the problem, the RMR cut would probably be the hardest. Carne Customs is a builder local to me that I had quote me for slide cuts. JagerWerks is a good one that does Glock slides. I would imagine they would be trustworthy for this gun too.

Shoot multiple divisions.
I load a 115gr Everglades plated with titegroup under it for PCC. (Coated bullets or FMJ will build gunk up in the compensator.)
A 147 bluebullet with Prima V under it for my carry optics, and my girlfriend’s production load.
I know exactly what settings will get my powder drop setting on the money. Roll the micrometer to the proper setting and go.
It’s also handy when working up a load: Figure out how much rotation approximates 0.2 gr and it’s easy to load a ladder with a new bullet or powder to 3.0 ... 3.2 ... 3.4 ... 3.6gr and so forth.
I never quite understood the micrometer bars either, but this explanation makes great sense.

Awesome. When I got my first press I thought the SDB would be enough. Turned out that I wanted to load 223 as well as 2 other calibers. Found a good deal on a used 650 and jumped on it. My uncle still has my SDB setup for 9MM.

I've watched that one before. It seems like a good process. Not sure that I would want to fully sort dirty brass that way, but it would work.

Thanks for the link ,that looks like a nice setup. So does anyone have a Lyman 2200 Tumblr they want to sell LOL.... really
I've heard of people doing it with quite a few different tumblers. Unless you are specifically wanting one.

I like Dawson sights. Adjustable for competition or fixed for carry.

Something like this would offer a lot of storage (not sure about this website, just an example).
