  1. I did sights, DK Customs full kit (worth every penny in my opinion), JagerWorks Gen 4 recoil system with a 13# spring, Talon sandpaper grip.

The biggest differences for me were the trigger and sights. I'd say these 2 are a must if you are are wanting to replace parts on your gun.

  2. Welcome to the forum Will. I am Andrew, and was in your squad last weekend. We spoke about pasting targets while on deck.

Hope you had a fun time, and hope to see you out at more matches. Let me know if you have any questions I can help with.

  3. I had the same issues with the ejector wire. After searching around on the internet a little I added more downward tension on the wire. It now sits right on the shell plate. Loaded 400 rounds the other night with absolutely no issues.

As far as the live primer catch goes, I took a piece of index card and made a squared off "U" shape. Taped it on, and I haven't had any issues since. It cost me pretty much no money as I had a cut up index card laying around.

  4. No lube here. Grx die on lee single stage. Everybody said lube cases first. I tried it one day with out lube and it works just fine. Every now and then there's a case that's a little hard but other than that it's not bad at all.

This is the same process that I do. Using the carbide GRX die runs them with no issues. On occasion you have one that is tougher than the rest.

  5. Seemed like a good deal on a Square Deal, but I am in the same boat. I bought my Square Deal in March, and going to buy a used 650 Tuesday. I am shooting more than ever since I started reloading, and really want to add a case feeder. I think the Square Deal is a great press, but like everyone else said, it depends how much you plan to shoot.

  6. I shot my 2011 for the first time last night, didn't pay attention to the weight of the ammo when I picked it up. Got 165s that had a very flat point about 1 in 10 would give me some issues. I am going to look for a different bullet for my next tests. I don't have dies to start reloading .40 yet.

  7. It's really personal preference. Myself, I prefer the Gen4. I have to readjust my hands to hit the Gen3 mag release where on the Gen4 I can hit it with no problem.
