I did sights, DK Customs full kit (worth every penny in my opinion), JagerWorks Gen 4 recoil system with a 13# spring, Talon sandpaper grip.
The biggest differences for me were the trigger and sights. I'd say these 2 are a must if you are are wanting to replace parts on your gun.

Welcome to the forum Will. I am Andrew, and was in your squad last weekend. We spoke about pasting targets while on deck.
Hope you had a fun time, and hope to see you out at more matches. Let me know if you have any questions I can help with.

I had the same issues with the ejector wire. After searching around on the internet a little I added more downward tension on the wire. It now sits right on the shell plate. Loaded 400 rounds the other night with absolutely no issues.
As far as the live primer catch goes, I took a piece of index card and made a squared off "U" shape. Taped it on, and I haven't had any issues since. It cost me pretty much no money as I had a cut up index card laying around.

I ordered a conversion kit for my 650 from Krakenpop. I love it that they are local to me. Everything was well packed and shipped in a very timely manner.

No lube here. Grx die on lee single stage. Everybody said lube cases first. I tried it one day with out lube and it works just fine. Every now and then there's a case that's a little hard but other than that it's not bad at all.
This is the same process that I do. Using the carbide GRX die runs them with no issues. On occasion you have one that is tougher than the rest.

Good news, Kaiden !!!
There's a SDB on today's classified ads, right here on Brian Enos [emoji4]
Came here to say this. The 400 that he is asking is a pretty good price for the press.

Just watched the video. I like the idea. I am going to try it in dry fire. Working off of a 23" monitor.

Has anyone seen this holster in person? Looks like it was recently launched. Any idea when retailers will start carrying them?

As SCTaylor said, Krakenpop has taken a lot of what Brian used to do. I have spoken with one of the owners of Krakenpop, and they seem to be great people. Plus all dillon loaders include shipping.

I have the DK trigger. I've shot about 600 rounds with it now. It has functioned great so far. Would definitely recommend it.

I've used RMR and Acme bullets. Both are good companies and have fast shipping.
I load Acme now for shooting matches because with the Enos discount you can get bullets for about .06 a piece.

I just stepped up to a 650 from a Square Deal B. So far I am loving it. I may be one of the weird ones, but I find reloading enjoyable. Buying all of the items, not so much.

You do not have to replace it with something else. Some people leave station 3 empty if they are not using powder check or bullet feeder.

Glad to see you are still active in the sport even if you are not competing. Any plans to start again in the future?

Seemed like a good deal on a Square Deal, but I am in the same boat. I bought my Square Deal in March, and going to buy a used 650 Tuesday. I am shooting more than ever since I started reloading, and really want to add a case feeder. I think the Square Deal is a great press, but like everyone else said, it depends how much you plan to shoot.

Good luck at the match this weekend. Been following your range diary since I started USPSA in May. Looks like you are making solid progress.

I would go with 40 Major if you want to get the max out of available points. 9 minor is a good option, but just requires much more focus.

I shot my 2011 for the first time last night, didn't pay attention to the weight of the ammo when I picked it up. Got 165s that had a very flat point about 1 in 10 would give me some issues. I am going to look for a different bullet for my next tests. I don't have dies to start reloading .40 yet.

I've been using the 125 gr. 9mm coated bullets. They perform great.

It's really personal preference. Myself, I prefer the Gen4. I have to readjust my hands to hit the Gen3 mag release where on the Gen4 I can hit it with no problem.

I just started USPSA this April. It has been a lot of fun. Lefthanders puts on a great match. I want to shoot Sparta sometime, but will be out of town for this month's match.
