I think this is very common for striker fired pistol, a snap caps will be a easy fix
-
I think you don't need change springs for either 17 or 19 rounder
only if you intent to convert them to 23rd 140mm mag.
-
very nice build, congrats!

Based on its condition you see what do you think is a reasonable price?

that depends on where are you live, here in the U.S. classic firearms has those for $199 without shipping.
-
Czechoslovakia, must be really old
-
I think you are fine with both of those, I use simple Walmart CLP for all my guns, no problem so far.
-
just get a optic cut on you current stock2, it would be cheaper I think
-
Why 10 lb main spring? I use 11.5 lb from CGW, works great and very reliable, DA is 5.5lb,
-
why polymer tanfo? you can easily make Stock 2 co ready
-
Maybe new TS is coming?
-
I had experience in both the old and new frame, and I would say older one has much sharper grip checkering.

The basic Stock 2 and Limited Custom are the best looking guns in the lineup. And those slide serrations are a big part of it for me.
I actually prefer the older stock2, where it has stilly longer barrel and tilt beaver tail

Here's a slo-mo comparison of recoil between the polymer Q5 and the SF;
it looks almost no difference!

I think you can also use Unica safety to save some weight, just a little bit

Yeah I would like to get mine to where I can use my shock bottle base pads as well! We will see. Im thinking if I relief cut some spots on mine i'll get to where I have a little more wiggle room. I dont want to change the grips out since they are the same ones I use on my USPSA rig as well.
Good luck with that, you will need to remove a lot of materials there.

Also what trigger pin are you using? You get much slop in it? Looks like a canik one from CGW.
That is CGW canik trigger pin, CZ pin is 1.0mm diameter, whereas canik and tanfo uses same 1.5mm pin

Im not sure...but they are pretty heavy. They have an extra .080" added to them to make them as thick as the wood grips...so that is probably whats keeping it on the fat side.
It must be cumbersome. The reason why I asked was that I am also running with a henning basepad with my setup, and still managed under 43 oz limit.
