Congrats to "thegirl" for taking Top Lady in Open and Top Lady Overall!
Nice shooting Rhonda...
WOOHOO Thegirl was shooting good !!!
Squad 10 was the most fun. We had LEO's galore and they were great. As a bonus feature, we had "thegirl" who was rocking with her SV. The high junior , who will be a Master at age 16 when the next classifications run. And then there was me, the fat, weezing, broken body, smiling goof ball trying to play with the big boys. My favorite line of the weekend, was mine of course" This sport hurts, if it weren't so much fun, I'd go do something else. Hats off to Rod and his mates, you did well.damon, I am coming for you.........
Shootingchef, I just don't know what to say about that, except you where shooting great and all those alphas was something to take notice of.
We had a (sand) BLAST at this match on squad 10

What a great job of all the staff that put this match on. As you have heard, the conditions on Saturday really got bad.
As John said, the staff and the shooters pushed on through to keep the match going.
Squad 10 was a bunch of great people as well, A lot of old freinds and some new ones. We had quite a few top finishers in our squad as well.
Congratulations to all of the Division and class winners !!!!
The sponsors where very generous and a lot of shooters took something nice home.

Any updates? How did everyone handle the heat?
MLM
Heat was not bad, now the wind was a different story. I think everything we have is sandblasted, including our faces.
4 stages to go in the morning, hammer down at 7:30 !!

The conversion is 99.00, got one from safariland a few weeks ago. It works good and locks.

don't count on space city as a match to count but they did run "el Pres" that should count.
Yeah, That's all i was counting on is the classifier, my best el pres ever. It will be enough to put me there.
-
Bart, That is awesome
Can't wait to see it in person.
-
Shhhh...he's posting now....everybody be quiet!
Bart, You are so funny, you crack me up.
-
I think someone needs to get out of A class.
Thanks for posting the video Jay !
If the Space City submits the scores for open div and USPSA likes them, then I will be Master on the next update. Just have to shoot better than before.
Thanks for the kind words everyone, J-Ho, As you know NM has just gotten above freezing and it is hard to get sun on the gringo legs in the winter around here, Oh wait, that is my RO blinding tactics along with those RO deflectors on the comp.

WOW, I know this lady. Good for her !

shot my best ever on this at Space City 2009 5.25 down 1 open division.
-
This was not just another match, It was an adventure !
A big THANKS ! to all that put on and run this match. Without good people like this , we would not have matches to attend.
Congrats to all the division and class winners !
We made it home late last night after getting towed the last 115 miles, that flood took its toll on my truck, we replaced a belt and tensioner after leaving the match on Sunday, and the front wheel bearing went out about 115 miles from home ?? WTF
Space City has always been a great match to attend, and even after all that happened with the great flood, The staff pushed hard on through and got er done !!!

Is anyone else surprised that DTR didn't count as a classifier since it was a Level II match & had plenty of GMs? Specifically in Limited.
I was just surprised this morning when the classifiers updated and DTR didn't show up in my Limited list.
I am sure Scorch will reply to this but, in the past the DTRC has not gone in immediately but will show up next month.

Does anyone know if they have any Sunday slots still open?
Ranger,
I hope you can make it !
