  1. Great Video !!!!

My best in a major was Space City 2009 open A class 5.07 down 2 ( I could be a hair off, but memory says) I think 1st place was a GM in open at 4.87 (Scott Stockton)

As was stated above, it really is in the turn & draw and the reload.

  2. The Range officers at the recent Gator 2009 did an excellent job with the Stage Score system. I did not see or hear of any batteries going down or any real big complaints. A few where still new to the system, but did a great job.

We had two walk on shooters in our squad that had to be added every stage and it did not seem to be a big deal to the staff.

In my opinon, this is the way to go in the future and I can only imagine what a big releif it is to staff that have to input so many scoresheets manually. :surprise:

  3. Another great match !!!

A big thanks to all the Gator match staff  The sponsors where very greatful as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my 2nd year attending the Gator, You should put this on the schedule next year, it is hard to find a better match and great hospitality !

Squad 7 rocked, everyone was a pleasure to shoot with

Congrats to all division and class winners :sight:

Team Rudy did really well  A lot of wood was taken home by them.

    See ya next year

  4. I voted for 300 as well, but I beleive 300-400 is very doable by most three gun shooters.

I also know that having a place to practice the longer distances comes into play, as most people do not ( I do).

I agree with Trapr and Kelly that the top shooters will clear a 100-350 or so yard stage much faster than other competitors and that is what will seperate them on the score board. A time out really frustrates competitors.

I like shooting the carbine from point blank run&gun and out to 600. Anything in between is ok as well.

Finally, It is up to the MD of the matches and I will run what I brung on whatever they have setup. If I personally do not care for it, then I will not attend again.

  5. Our prayers will be with Rod & Cheryl !

I found out Sat, that he was going in Monday. It was not gonna work on just one or so, there where too many blocked. So they did the quaduple yesterday and all went as expected.

Rod has given so much to this sport, it is unreal. Rod & Cheryl are the greatest people you would ever want to meet.
