Im down in frostproof shooting nationals l im a C class shooter. this is a good learning experience. Its first major match I just started shooting march of this year. I live in Destin,Florida and looking for a class for competition training does anyone know a good one to look for?

thats impressive Ive been contemplating a SVI limited gun or a new open gun but cant make up my mind. I have an akai custom limited gun and my back up gun thats just a reliable turd not pretty but runs good.

Yeh the Atlanta Arms long loaded ammo is what i feel comfortable with but WWB what little i have shot of it runs fine. I gotta start reloading. there is a new ammo black dot ammunition he runs east alabama gun club he is gonna load me some long ammo .180 and gonna give it a try its very reasonable priced i $249 per 1000rds ill pick some up on the 16th of oct. at there next uspsa match they have a FB page check them put

i have was having same prob. with mine i polished the feed ramp up good and tuned my extractor some myself. Try Atlanta Arms long loaded ammo thats what i shoot runs great

In precision matches i see some using supressors and some not. why? Is it a personal preference? Im starting to shoot PRS matches my first one is 24th july im setting my gun up should i set it up with supressor or without? any advantage to using one? I have a Silencerco. speqwar 7.62 with quick connect if that matters

I have a budget max $2500 for a new scope for my Ruger precision rifle 6.5 creedmoor im new to the PRS and cant make up my mind if i want to get a Vortex Razor GEN 2 4.5-27x56 for about $2400 or start out with the Viper pst 6-24x50 around $900 i would hate to get the viper and wish i had got the razor but i would also hat to spend an extra $1600 on the razor and the viper would have worked. Any advice or recomendations would be greatly appreciated. thanks

this is my 1st 2011 just doing some testing withh diffrent ammo to see whats working best ive tried remington 180gr,Federal 180gr, and winchester white box 165gr only thing ive found it like as of now is the white box. i just ordered some atlanta arms 180gr major and the atlanta arms 180gr long .175 loads

can i get the slide stop tuned to not lock back?

while doing some testing on my 2011 today trying diffrent types of ammo the slide would lock with 1 rd still in the mag it wasnt really a feed issue. the slide would just lock back im using Dawson tuned mags and tuned bot to lock back even with a empty mag. i dont get it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

looking into JP or tbox l. I hear really good things about tbox barrels anyone have any experience with it

just got my scope in yesterday. just havent heard good things about them .Heard they use to make barrels for a couple of the big names but got dropped due to accuracy issues. Thinking about taking it off and sellng it as new since it hasnt been fired maybe be able to get rid if it for more to cover some of the price on a higher end barrel trying to make a precision gasser i knownits not going tombr as accurate as a bolt gun but want it as accurate as possible.

Vortex Razor is an excellent scope there pricey but one of the best out there.

my AR10 has a ballistic advantage barrel on it ive heard there not that great for accuracy. any experience with it? Whats a good barrel company swap with i hear tbox a great barrel wanting to stsy with the 6.5 creedmoor

Ive tried to find a gen 1 Razor and i cant seem to locste one and dont want to drop $2300 on a gen 2. so if you got anh leads to where 1 might be. My buddy told me miday but there still $1600 there.

im thinking more of like a vortex viper pst for the creedmore gasser. i also have a savae 110 FCP HS Precision i was going to make into a long range gun i got it for a deal of a lifetime but after reaearching ammo i have to either start reloading or sell it lol but if i do decide to keep it that will be my long range gun
