  1. Our problem occurred when one of the conflicted devices was at the range for set up a day before the match. On the day of match the Master took the address that was assigned to a device a day earlier. When that device came back to the range the next day it re-connected to "it's" old address it had been given a day earlier. This is a router problem and not PS.
  2. We had a problem synching to our master with one NST. Our NSTs stayed with Squads for the match. I synched a squads device as they headed to their last stage. We pulled all the scores from the finished NSTs and waited for the last squad to come in. Our Master reported 0 changes from the last device yet we knew (and could see) that there were 9 new scores. I was about to panic when I found I was able to pull the scores to another device and then the Master could see the changes.
  3. w00T! I love you, Guys! Target #s are rendering on our NSTs! Thank You! Bob
  4. How do NSTs handle cold weather? Our January match will start at ~25F.
  5. I handed a couple of ROs a couple of our NSTs (with 1.0.14 and 1.0.12) today and they confirmed importance of target numbers. They were confused without them! Same stages and shooters... Bob
  6. The Target # column doesn't render with 1.0,14 The T# Header is there but no target numbers. Bob
  7. That's what I figured, but there are 2 pages of issues there and I couldn't tell if maybe some of the resolved issues were in versions that were already released. Bob
  8. PractiScore Version Numbers. On the Bug Tracker page when do the Resolved Status items go in the code? Is 1.0.14 static or would any changes trigger a different # (1.0.15)? Perhaps a note in the issues table would clarify that at a glance. We are reverting our NSTs to 1.0.12 so the T#s render. Bob
  9. If there is more than one page of Targets for a Stage, the 12th is cut off on NSTs. T#12 is half height. This will confuse the average end user! Bob
  10. Brilliant and elegant solution. Fix the decimal at 2 places and then you'd just have to enter 4 or 5 numbers and not fumble to find the . ALL Comstock, Virginia Count and Time-Plus USPSA matches just record to 1/100. Being able to go.XXXXXXXXX is silly. IMHO Re-Tapping on the Time Box clears it. Bob
  11. There is no need for the Disqualify or DNF Buttons to be on the "RO" level scoring page. Both the DQ and DNF should rarely be needed when entering scores and shoud be on another page that has "administrator" type permissions. @ less buttons would simplify the page. Perhaps a long hold on Shooters name at the Squad Level Page would bring up a box with 3 options. Cancel, Disqualify or DNF. Bob
  12. Hit Factor looks good on our NSTs. Our shooters Love it there! They can see at a glance exactly how they shot the stage compared to the rest of the squad. I would vote to keep it there! Bob
  13. There is only need for 2 decimal places. The second one entered should close the entry box or jump to the next string.Jump to score targets when time(s) are entered. Picking nits on this awesome program. Bob
  14. When we go to score targets in a Comstock Stage. The Target #s don't seam to be rendering on our Nooks. You can tap on where they should be and it clears the row like it should, but you can't see which target # it is. Do we have some setting wrong? Bob
  15. Our Nooks got some range time today scoring a Steel Challenge and Multi-Gun side match. First match we scored with them. E-Ink is awesome! Everyone who scored with one loved it. Screen size and lack of glare off the screen is Perfect. We just picked up 5 more. Bob Central Ozarks Practical Shooters MO08
  16. I urge all USPSA members to ask your Area Directors to fully embrace PractiScore. I talked to mine at length. They should sure help fund this project. Having one app to score USPSA, Multi-Gun, Steel Challenge and IDPA is truly a breakthrough. Electronic scoring is the future.
  17. If the range has Wi-Fi, Yes! You have to have the Synch Code from the Club's master device and then you can pull all the results. Bob
  18. Does PractiScore save or is there an option to save data to an external card? My thought is that if a scoring device would get destroyed mid match, to just pop out the card and install into a backup device. Bob
  19. Time Plus gives IDPA Divisions. We need USPSA Divisions for Multi-Gun too! Perhaps a branch when choosing Time Plus? Bob
  20. I wouldn't pay that for a local match....unless the Swedish Bikini team was picking brass for the squad.
  21. I tried searching for a way to import the masternames.db file from EzWinScore into our PractiScore devices and had no luck. Is there a way to do this? It would sure make registering on the device easier if all the names were already in there. Bob
  22. Has anyone built a wireless network at their range? We have 12 bays up to 1300' away from our Stat Shack. We only have power at the Stat Shack and would like to be able to pull scores from our farthest bay. We ordered a 15 db gain omni directional antennae which we plan on mounting ~10' above our stat shack. We'll also be using a RadioLabs O2Breeze high power router. Any input from wi-fi experts would be appreciated. Bob Delp Central Ozarks Practical Shooters MO08
  23. Got this reply to my inquiry to PractiScore: "Yes we do plan to add better support for SteelChallenge. PractiScore can be used for that now but we understand that it's not ideal. We'll be adding support for tracking per-string scores and dropping the worst." - Devin
  24. Our club is about to jump on the electronic scoring bandwagon using PractiScore. It would sure be nice if it supported SCSA Steel matches too.
