  1. We would like to submit activity reports directly from PractiScore. Activity/Classifier Report >Enter Club Name > Club Code> match level are straight forward. Preview > 3 Choices. 1. Email, 2. Open it, 3.Print. 2. Open it seems redundant as it is already open... What email address do we use to submit activity reports to? How can we pay for them? G27
  2. We found a bug in 1.6 Steel Challenge scoring. We had one stage called Speed Option. If you hit the "Option" plate 2 seconds is supposed to be Subrtacted from your score. 1.6 Adds 2 seconds like it was a penalty. Bug report submitted. G27
  3. We have carbonless scoresheets ordered which we had planned to copy the data right off the detailed review screen for our paper backup for level II matches. Bob
  4. Bummer on the loss of the detailed review screen. Bob
  5. We did tell the Apple people that they wouldn't be able to Synch....they were crushed!
  6. euxx, I sent the .psc file to the address from Mantis Bug Tracker email requesting it. I noticed our Master Android tablet sent several error messages generated when PractiScore crashed....don't know if you see those? Bob
  7. It is real nice to see a list of all devices on the network in Andriod! The Layout of the Steel Challenge Stages is awesome (penalties and/or Bonuses right there for each string). The Apple devices were unable to synch with any of our Androids. G27
  8. In 1.2, Penalty and/or Bonuses do not make the trip when synching and Unable to edit scores as it crashes PractiScore. Steel Challenge match.
  9. I just remembered that not all SCSA stages have 5 strings. Outer Limits just has 4. Outer Limits, which will be the best three out of four runs. Bob
  10. I just remembered that not all SCSA stages have 5 strings. Outer Limits just has 4. Outer Limits, which will be the best three out of four runs. Bob
  11. Thank You! For fixing it. What's the timeframe for Steel Challenge support? User defined Divisons, classes and penalty/bonus is awesome. It would be cool to be able to throw out X many strings. To see how results would shift with all 5 strings compared to the best 4. Could there be a seting to toggle between 1 and all Strings used to calculate Final Results? Bob
  12. We have a whole bunch of Steel stages in addition to the "official" SCSA ones. We shoot 5 Strings for every Stage toss the worst string like normal. Some stages might not have 5 targets, but there are always 5 strings. The Stages with "Bonus" plates are always -2 Seconds. 5 second penalty for missed plate except 30 second penalty for missed stop plate. Open, Limited, Revolver, .22 Pistol-Open, .22 Pistol-Limited, .22 Carbine-Open, .22 Carbine-Limited and CCW. We encorage people to practice using their Concealed Carry Rig. Bob
  13. With 1.1.4 this method no nonger works. You now cannot enter a time of 0.00, PractiScore won't accept it. Found this out after the first Squad started shooting today! Right now all 5 strings are counted.....to fix this I'd have to go change versions and then go through each stage and change 260+ entries... I sure wish Steel Challenge would soon be fully supported! Bob
  14. Ran a 5 stage USPSA match with 54 shooters using 1.1.2 on NSTs. No problems at all!...except for one time that was 32.58 and was entered as 3258.00. Not a PractiScore problem! Bob
  15. Time Plus has problems too. We only count the 4 fastest runs out of 5 strings. You have to manually add penalties (or subtract Options) and manually zero out the worst stage. Yes, it can be done, as we have scored several Steel matches with PS....but they do plan at some point to fully support Steel without having the added steps needed now. I hope this could be put on the "front burner" .....we shoot USPSA, SCSA Steel Challenge and Multi-Gun at our range. Bob
  16. I will as soon as you get Steel Challenge implemented! Bob
  17. Fixed 2 decimal scoring would make this problem moot. I know of no shooting discipline where electronic scoring is used AND also use timers with more than 1/100's on the display... Bob
  18. A fixed 2 decimal scoring value wouldn't need a period for entry. G27
  19. Tom, You WANT the e-Ink display of the NST's. No other Apple or Android device I've seen can can be used in direct sunlight except the Nooks. Bob
  20. Local Staples had NST's on "clearance" for $49.90. They only had 1 and can't order any more in to the store. They said NSTs could only be ordered online from them from now on... Bob
  21. Until we adopted PractiScore, I had actually begun to dread match weekends. I loved the shooting, but the job of manually entering all the damned score sheets hung over either my or one other person in the club. None others have ever entered scores in the ~17 years I've been involved in Match Scoring at our club... Bob
  22. emails sent to my Area III director, MO Section coordinator and USPSA (President, Roger, Val). All USPSA members should strongly urge USPSA to fully cooperate with NiftyBytes for classifier submission. PractiScore has already saved our club ~8 man hours of data entry and we've just fully electronic scored our January matches! Competitors LOVE leaving the range with the full results on their device! Bob
  23. Any rough time frame for full Steel Challenge support? Bob
  24. All 4 NSTs that I brought home have the exact time, but I think they were turned on and connected to my home network since I brought them home. We'll be sure to confirm all devices are time synched for our steel match in a couple weeks. We pulled the scores to another device which the Master was able to pull from......so I guess the one device could theoretically have been far enough off for the Master to reject, but not far enough off for the other device. Has anyone reported problems with NSTs losing time? It was cold that day with ~20F start... Bob
