Seating and crimping separately.

What bell width do you use for coated 9mm? Using Dillion dies with MBF funnel. Projectiles are .356.
Was getting occasional scrap of coating. If I open up the bell/flare I’m hitting the seating die walls.

Your eyes. Just look in the case then rotate to next position. I use quick powder, small charge, and it’s almost over flowing if you double charge. Pretty easy to see a double.

Are there other headstamps for amerc, other than just “amerc”?
-
Thanks for the feedback. CBC is one that has given me problems, lots fail to gauge.
-
Any headstamps that cause problems or should be avoided, other than stepped cases?

New to pcc game and looking for advice on a dot.
Which one would you recommend and why. Brand, style, moa, durability, warranty, etc. See that the reflex type sights seem to be preferred.

Strategic Edge in Chapel Hill, south of Nashville has USPSA matches every 3rd Saturday. Club is also within about 2 hours of a USPSA match every weekend. There is a premier long range that goes out to 1250yds. Nice bays and equipment.

That’s the, or very similar, 3D printed one I referenced in the original post. Worked better than factory, still dropped a few primers, then it broke when a primer got stuck between it and the press.
Was wondering if someone made a metal version of the one Tom referenced, or something similar, that may be a little more durable. The design Tom referred to is definitely better than factory, I just happened to break it from normal use.

That’s no good, paid competitors shouldnt have to score & RO like a club match. On a 5 person squad that would really suck.

Are stages or a matchbook available?

Any winners from the early registration drawing ?

Clean the tumbler using a run of just dawn or other dish soap and steel pins, run for 2-3 hours . May need to do it twice to remove all the wax. The wax from wash and wax type soaps will gunk up your tumbler making the cases tarnished. Also with wax more is not better, it takes a very small amount before you get dull colored cases. My go to is a .40 case full of lemishine and just a small amount of dawn, don't measure the dish soap but maybe a .45 case worth.
Unless you're trying to use wax in place of case lube just switch to dish soap.

I've got a single stage rcbs rock chucker IV press that primarily gets use de capping, the press works great for this and pass through sizing. The thing is while pulling primers the factory primer catch is crap. Primers spill all over and it's hard to empty, just generally poorly thought out. So I tried one of the 3D printed ones. It worked ok, less primer spillage and the primers are routed through a tube to a primer collector e.g. soda bottle. This worked fine until a primer got clogged in between the press and collector and broke the front part off.
My question is does anyone make a better primer catch or could make me a better primer catch that won't break? Any suggestions?
thanks

Does anyone have a photo or schematic of a uspsa wall base they could share? Right now I think I want 2x2 walls with a metal base, if you run something similar I'd be interested in your design for the bases and any changes you would make to the design if you did them again.
Open to other designs if there are better ones, but this seems to be pretty standard most places.

Thanks for the link. Trying to get actual measurements for the same type of set up and dies. Wanting to see if flare is causing the shaving or bullet placement.
