i have a 40 tso, threw a 9mm barrel in it, had it milled for plates, have a plate for SRo, in 9mm its LO

have a plate with rear sight, using that and putting the 40 barrel back in its limited.

Runs like a champ in 9mm, obviously with 9mm mags

What 9mm barrel are you running & was it a drop in fit? How is the reliability?

  2. Start at 10 yards and work back to 25. With the 25 yard zero I have not noticed any issues at closer distances. 25 yards seems to be about the farthest shot you’ll see in most matches, if you’re not zeroed at that distance I think it’s a mistake.

Slide stop, trigger return spring, fiber optic rod, grip screws, and a 10# recoil spring.

I’d add an extractor, extractor spring and pin, also maybe a hammer spring, firing pin, and spring.

  4. Apparently the Norma brass I find tends to have the small flash hole, so I throw them away. The thicker decap pin I have will open up the flash hole and resize it but I don’t want to chance breaking or bending the decap pin, so I throw those head stamps away.

  5. You can get them out on a lee decapper, but you might bend or break it since the pin is going to enlarge the flash hole to get the primer out. Adds and extra step too. More work then it’s worth is my take, throw them in the scrap bucket or trash. You could use a smaller pin or file one down and probably make it work.

  6. I sort brass as well, even on a 1050. Mainly looking for the steeped cases and brands that I consistently have problems with, such as cbc. If you have a stepped case break in the chamber you’ll have a difficult time removing it and possibly spend as much time/cost as you have in sorting through the brass. If you damage the chamber removing it, it might mean a new barrel. Just a risk vs reward analysis if you want to sort, I know a lot of people who don’t sort as well.

  7. The chambers are much tighter on the gen 5, my gen4 loads won’t fit in a gen5 barrel. If you haven’t yet, pull the barrel and plunk some rounds in the barrel and see if they will spin freely.

On some glocks I have had to remove and polish the extractor on the top and bottom sides where it would contact the slide. This has helped extraction for me in several cases.

  8. Have you seen the cz dwx?  Sounds like it might be what you’re after. Believe they are unobtainium at the moment though.

  9. Use a different holster buy my old match glocks look pretty worn. Hasn’t caused any issues other than looking like they get used. If you’re dry firing and using them wear is hard to avoid. Maybe just use it as a bbq gun and avoid the wear?
