Henning makes disconnectors and sears? You sure he didn't mean Eric (Xtreme) ?
Since it has an Xtreme hammer that's probably correct.
I'm going to tear it down when I get it and see what I've got.

Thanks for all the responses.
I just purchased a used Stock 2 off Gunbroker:
Comes with:
6 mags with Springer base plates.
Red Hill holster
Fiber front sight
Description said it had some trigger work done but wasn't specific. Guy said it has a Henning disconnector and sear. Didn't mention it has a Titan hammer which I figured out from the pictures.
Hope I like it!

Can't find it on Amazon.

Where does one find the manufacture date? Is it on the factory case label or by serial number?
I'm looking at picking up a used one.
Thanks.
Enter your SN here to get manufacture date:

Thanks!

Yikes. So it's pretty much like stating over again. I'm sure that's got to be frustrating.
I'm just now starting to creep up on B class times with the Glock.

Thanks. Sounds like it's pretty big deal. My plan was make the switch in late fall so I have full winter of dry fire under my belt.
-
Thinking about making the switch from a Glock 17 to a Stock 2 and have some questions before I drop a bunch of coin..
What are some of the issues people have with making the change? I've only shot Glocks for the past 4 years.
Were draws and transitions more difficult because of the added weight?
How about mag changes? I know the mag well has to be better. I have to do the filp with Glocks to reach the mag release. Is the Tanfo a shorter reach?
Was getting used to a DA/SA difficult?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

This is a blatant post whoring post.
Yes sir it is.
I meant mine.

I'm new to USPSA this year. Been seriously dry firing and practicing since April.
I keep a journal of my dry and live fire practices with drills run and par times. I alternate between Anderson's book and Stoeger's book for my drills.
I do Anderson's drills 1-12 M,W,F since my fundamentals need the most work. T, Th I do 2 drills from each section of Stoeger's book. Sat is either off or I might dry fire a mini stage. Sunday is live fire practice or a match.
The nice thing is being able to look back and see that you've cut 5 seconds off your El Prez since you started.
Now I'm happy to cut a tenth or two every couple weeks.
My par times keep getting shorter and my match scores keep getting better so this is working for me for now.

5-6 40-60 min dry fire sessions per week.
2 300 round live fire practices and 2 matches per month.
-
That's going to one long-ass draw from a Production holster.
-
I put a factory Glock extended in my 17. It helps a little. The two things I really dislike about Glocks are the mag release and mag well.
-
I started on a 650. Just read the manual and watch the videos on Youtube. Learning curve isn't bad.
I would recommend picking up a single stage also for load development.
Oh and, get the case feeder.

Pretty easy to do yourself with a Dremel and cylinder sanding attachment. You can rough it in with the Dremel then polish it with fine grit sandpaper. Just go slow.
I do mine myself (I still get Glock knuckle though.)
I still don't have the guts to stipple myself though.

Thanks guys. I do have a timer, but I haven't had an opportunity to use it at the range. I did some dry fire practice last night with a 1.2 sec par time. I could get an aimed shot off 90% of the time, but it felt rushed. I am going to try to stop freaking myself out on the c-word stages and treat them all the same. I will start asking more questions after the stages to be aware of what is going on. Sometimes I feel like I'm in the matrix. For instance, reloads...I grab the mag and put it in the gun. I have had very few mishandlings, but I am not aware of how I grip the mag. I just do it.
I do the same thing. I'm on auto pilot during a course. Reloads just kind of happen and I have no real memory of how I did them.

4" 5 shot groups on the rare occasion when I'm on. Normally 6".
Glock 17 KKM barrel and 147 grain hand loads.

I never heard of DK. I have purchased parts from TTI. I'll look into that.

DK triggers are badass, They are in the Industry section. Read the reviews.

Dry fire for an hour a day 6 days a week.
-
Let's see, in the past 6 months:
Dillon 650 with all the gizmos and gadgets
Buttload of reloading components
Belt/Holster/mag pouch set up
Gun parts
I've spent a pretty good chunk of change.
-
650 for sure.

Can you shoot well with a target focus? Can you learn to? I know this isn't going to work 25 yards but for bowling pin distance it should be fine.

Man, I'm jittery enough before a match.

I got it really bad last winter. I already lift weights but I started doing a lot of forearm grip training also this winter. I still have a little pain this year but not enough to interfere with my training. It just gets a little sore once in a while if I hit it hard. Last winter I could barely pick things up with my arm extended. Hurt like hell.
