I like that polish job. I have a spare frame sitting in the safe that may have to get that treatment if I ever get bored enough.

what do you have there Kneelingatlas? GT factory barrel with the first port opened up some along with 3 popple holes? On a shortened frame?

Tristar makes great guns. My carry gun is a P100. It has been 100% reliable for me when I take it to the range.

Thanks! I was looking for that diagram and could not find it.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the rear sight cut for the 75 shadow and the SP-01 shadow?

My TSO sits in the safe until I find a way to increase trigger weight... It is to scary now
have you tried using a Tanfo sear spring in place of a cz one? The factory Tanfo sear spring has an extra coil and it should increase the pull weight some. I know back in the day before we had PD springs it was common to put a cz sear spring in a Tanfo to help get the pull weight down.
I have not tried this personally but, it should be a rather inexpensive thing to test out.

DPP 7.5
Easier to track for me than 2.5 DPP.

Had a travel adjustment screw walk out on me with my Xtreme SAO trigger. I currently have the SAO Unica Hammer and I am thinking about putting in a BOLO to take the travel screws out of the equation.
Has anyone tried to use a BOLO with the Unica SAO hammer?
How did it work for you?
Is there anything to know when fitting a BOLO/Unica Hammer (SAO). vs a BOLO/Titan hammer?
Thanks!

I live in Austin and used to run black xtreme grips on my match xtreme, I use black Hennings now and have never has a problem with them being to hot.

Really digging the Lok Palmswells on my Shadow. Have tried the VZ's but they had a small amount of play in them that drove me nuts. Hennings are really nice as well but, not as wide as the Palmswell Lok Grips.

Those are the correct grips. I found them to be too thin for my liking. Henning also makes some grips that I personally believe feel better and are in between the wood grips and xtreme grips as far as thickness goes.

I dont believe you can just thread a barrel for a Domina Comp. I was considering buying one a while back and Joe at PD said the Domina Comp requires a custom bushing to mate it to a barrel.

That is a great looking gun husker.
Same for yours Nutzach. I loved those grips when I was running an older model TS

Thanks!

I am currently set up with a FF3 with a Henning dovetail mount on my shadow that is going to be used for carry optics. I have a decent mill drill that is certainly good enough to do the work and I am thinking about milling the slide to direct mount the optic.
Does anyone know for sure if I can directly mount to the milled Shadow slide? Or will I need to use some sort of adapter plate for the screws on the FF3?
I am concerned that the screws that hold the FF3 in place are a little to far apart for the shadow slide and wont have room to drill and tap holes directly in the slide. Not sure if it is worth all the effort if I end up needing an adapter plate of some sort since the dot will not be much lower than it is now with the dovetail mount.

How tight does the BOLO pin fit in the CZ hammer? The BOLO pin is intentionally undersized for Tanfo hammers allowing the BOLO to have a small amount of additional movement that a standard tanfo disco pin does not have. Very interested to read how well this works out for you. I am super happy with the trigger on my shadow but, there is always the next build...

CZ Shadow 2
in CZ
8 hours ago, rowdyb said:Nothing I did is what I'd consider tuning or gunsmithing though, maaayyyybbbee the polishing of internals. What we do to the Shadow 2 is soooo minimal to what I did with my SP01's and definitely less than anything I've ever done to a bone stock 19/2011 (or hell my Glock 34) before competing with it. Looking at my own list the grips are the bit dollar item. Use VZ or Lok and you knock 50 bucks off the price of your mods. my list comes to grips $130, all springs I did $30, front sight $39, disco $55. So for less than $260 I've made the gun a tiny bit nicer for matches and I think more adapted to my loads and shooting style. Not bad....
+1 for Henning Grips. Best feeling grips I own and worth every penny!

The grams springs and followers provide additional capacity with extended basepads.

Thanks Chuck.
Beven's response is that the followers are different but the springs are the same...

The Cz Custom 5.5 mm front sight will also work. It does require being drilled for the retaining pin. They sell the correct drill bit needed for $2 or so on their website. Very easy to install. I am using it with the fixed rear sight. It did not change the POI when compared to the tritium front sight.

I know it is a different platform but, I could never get 20 rounds into my .40 tanfo mags from Henning until I watched the video that they have on the website showing how to load 20 rounds. Once they get to 17 rounds in the video they bang the mag on a table and hit against their hand. They are able to stuff the extra rounds in that point. Actually does work....
Recommend checking out the video...

Also posted this on the Tanfo page....
Anyone know if there is a difference between the followers for CZ's and Tanfo's?
would hate to order some and find out they are the same as the 4 that I already own.

I was there this weekend too. I had a decent run by my lowly standards. Had a lot of fun even with it being a little on the chilly side.
