  1. As taken from their website ordering information in my situation. Colt style 1911's ands all clones, sti, svi, and eaa 5-7". Which I should have checked. All listed for the same holster. Does look like Glick would be different, yes.

  2. Just hope I can do it justice. I have never been one to let my equipment be an excuse in any sport. If I did bad it was always on me. Now after 20 years not competing I am sure it will be me if there is an issue. lol

  3. Depends on what you call a fortune, I guess. I've had a witness open gun before, 9x21. One thing I have learned over time though is not everyone who is good is outrageous on prices for their work. Last open gun I had a local gunsmith performed the work reasonably; and I would put it against anyones work at the time.

  4. Wondering what everyone thinks is needed for a eaa witness open gun for modifications? With the catch that I would also like to use it for uspsa and Bianchi, ppc. Also any good witness gunsmith around Northern Illinois without spending a fortune.

  5. That's great and stick shift built in I assume? Think the xdm 5.25" competition is going up for sale or trade. Just like the feel of the witness better. If you here of someone looking for the 9mm version with 5 mags let me know. I will be in line for one of those mounts when done.

  6. Just looking now and trying to find one on here. Thinking 9mm or 38 super. Used to have 9x21 open with all the whistles and miss it to much not to have a open witness again. Just a thought, but the wings would be detachable right? Sure you already thought of that though.

  7. Thanks Warren for the heads up. Looks probably like I will not be able to make Bianchi this year. I may try and make the Flagler though. We will see how this wrist ends up after healing from surgery.

  8. eaa witness limited pro 9MM. Which division or divisions would this be legal in? Also looking at playing some ipsc games as well. So might just go open all the way. Does anyone make barricade mounts for these?

  9. Blade had some failures to chamber when I was loading for ipsc. Check oal as suggested, which did not help my problem at the time. With the match barrel I added using a single stage press to taper crimp my cases after loading on my square deal. This solved the problem for me all worked great afterward.

  10. Used 88gr jhp Remingtons in my steel gun years ago in front of w's and federal small pistol magnum primers. The witness 9x21mm with 3 port comp was actually recoiling down, due to the expelled gases and lack of recoil. Put on a hell of a light show at night as well. Thanks for all the info guys. Looks like between 4.6 and 5.0 with a conservative oal seems to shoot pretty good for most after further researching. Time to make some loads and test after healing. Good starting point anyway.
